Paul Fernie has been in charge of the Lilies‘ sporting fortunes for almost exactly six months to the day. We used the current international break to look at the first few months of his term in office with the sports director and to take a look ahead. In an interview with sv98.de, the 37-year-old analyses the end of last season, the transfer phase this summer and the progress of the current second division season so far. Nürnberger travelling with Bulgaria again

Game-free weekend? Not for Fabian Nürnberger. The Lilien professional is traveling again with the Bulgarian national team during the current international match period. Nuremberg and Bulgaria – his mother's home country – have two games in the UEFA Nations League waiting for him. While the Bulgarian selection will face Luxembourg on Saturday (12.10/6pm), the duel with Northern Ireland awaits on Tuesday (15.10/8:45pm).

Success in the mini test. The Lilies won the test match against regional league team SG Barockstadt Fulda-Lehnerz 1-0 (1-0). Killian Corredor scored the decisive goal of the game, which was played over 2 30 minute halves.
