In this year's summer preparation, the Lilies are taking part in two training camps. At the end of June, head coach Torsten Lieberknecht's team spent a few intensive days in the Black Forest, and since July 15th, SV 98 has set up camp again in the Palatinate. Until July 21st, the visitors from south Hesse will be visiting the Hotel Krone in Herxheim again and will be completing their sessions on the TV Hayna sports field. A few months ago, SV Darmstadt 98 announced that a “nostalgia corner” would be created between the main and north stands in the Merck Stadium at Böllenfalltor. Work on this area will begin at the end of July and will last around four months. In the area directly next to one of the time-honored floodlight masts, old steps and breakwaters will be integrated so that a piece of “old Bölle” can still be experienced. The “Dugena Clock” will also be located in the stadium area in the future.
