Björn Müller will no longer serve as sporting director at the Lilies' Merck Youth Performance Center (NLZ) on Kastanienallee at his own request. The 48-year-old will take up the position of sporting director of Hertha BSC's football academy, effective immediately.

We have honoured this wish and accordingly agreed on an early termination of his employment at our Youth Center. In his three years as Sporting Director, Björn has initiated and developed many things, and has done an excellent job, for which we would like to take this opportunity to express our sincere gratitude. We wish him all the best for his future in Berlin, both personally and professionally.“
