Preparation time is also test match time. The German Football League (DFL) officially scheduled the first two match days of the 2024/25 second division season on Tuesday afternoon (July 9). The Lilies start the new season with the home game on Sunday (August 4th/1:30pm) against Fortuna Düsseldorf. The first away game will also take place on Sunday (August 11th/1.30pm) at SC Paderborn. The 2nd Bundesliga will then take a break due to the first round of the DFB Cup. As is well known, the duel between Teutonia Ottensen and SV 98 takes place on Sundays (August 11th/3:30pm) at the Millerntor Stadium in Hamburg.
As part of the training camp in Herxheim-Hayna, there will once again be a joint barbecue evening for fans and the team. This is planned for Thursday, July 18, 2024. All places are already fully booked and further registrations are no longer possible.

SV 98 successfully played its third test game: The Lilies won 8:1 (5:0) against SV 1919 Münster. Hornby (2x), Mehlem (2x), Vilhelmsson, Marseiler and Stojilkovic scored for Darmstadt.

The game against the Luxembourg first division team kicks off at 4pm. Entry is free.
Dress rehearsal at the Böllenfalltor! And your team can be there. On July 27th, the English club Coventry City will be visiting the Merck Stadium. There is a special offer for youth groups at this international test match: they can order tickets for the main stand at a special price of 5 euros per child (U18). One free companion card is included for every five children. The seats are located in the lower tier of the main stand in blocks W1 and W3 – This means that the children and young people are not only there live, but also close to the action.
