SV 98 has taken important steps to ensure the future viability of its youth academy: Next year, the club will construct a new modular building at the Merck Youth Performance Center (NLZ) on Kastanienallee. The facilities for youth players and the administration will replace the existing container complex. Construction is scheduled to begin in the second quarter of 2026, with completion expected by summer of next year.

Around 50 members of the Bölle Gang and their parents met on Wednesday (November 5th) at the Merck Stadium at Böllenfalltor to participate in the 3rd Bölle Gang Lantern Run. Instead of the four floodlights, the youngest fans' creatively crafted Lilies lanterns illuminated the early Wednesday evening.

When the final whistle blew, a roar of jubilation erupted, echoing far beyond the city limits: Hannover 96 had just defeated the overwhelming favourites, 1. FC Kaiserslautern, 5-1, and crowned themselves German football champions. A sensation the likes of which German football hadn't seen in a long time. The German Football League (DFL) officially scheduled matchdays 15 to 19 of the 2. Bundesliga on Wednesday afternoon (November 5th). Darmstadt 98 will play one match each Saturday evening, one Sunday, and one Friday before Christmas. They will kick off the 2026 football year with an away game against VfL Bochum on a Sunday. For the third year in a row, the Merck Stadium at Böllenfalltor will be transformed into a giant open-air bedroom. The overnight event has a serious purpose: to raise awareness of homelessness in Germany, and specifically in the Darmstadt region, SV 98 is once again organising the stadium sleepover for charity. On the night of November 29th to 30th, 2025 (Saturday to Sunday), Lilies fans can participate and spend the night under the open sky at the Bölle.
Nearly one hundred Darmstadt 98 fans participated in the third Krombacher Fan Tour on Friday (October 24th). The destination was the second division match between SV Darmstadt 98 and FC Schalke 04. Following the resounding success of the first (to Dortmund) and second (also to Gelsenkirchen) fan tours, this popular away trip was a resounding success. Despite the 1-0 defeat, the Darmstadt supporters enjoyed a wonderful day, where camaraderie and shared experiences were the main focus.
In 2022, the German Football League (DFL) launched the "Bundesliga Dream" initiative. This initiative supports local football institutions in Asia in developing and promoting youth football. As part of the "Bundesliga Dream India" project, 16 players from an Indian U15 team recently visited SV Darmstadt 98. During their visit, the young footballers participated in training sessions at the Lilies' youth academy, received a stadium tour, attended SV 98's home match against Arminia Bielefeld, and played in a friendly match.
