Information for people with disabilities

Tickets:

Severely disabled people can purchase a reduced ticket (standing or seated) upon presentation of the appropriate identification document. If the symbol „B“ is entered on the severely disabled person’s ID card, this person is entitled to take an accompanying person with them. Tickets can be booked via our ticket hotline, in the two fan shops and via the ticket online shop.

Wheelchair users:

The covered wheelchair spaces are located in blocks O1 and O8 on the east stand and behind blocks S1-S3 on the wheelchair ramp in the south stand (10 euros, including accompanying person). The accompanying person is in the stadium to look after the disabled person and has free entry; the seat provided is in the immediate vicinity of the wheelchair user. There is no entitlement to an unrestricted view of the playing field at this place, but the accompanying person can also stand behind the wheelchair user. The person caring for you does not need an additional ticket, as this is automatically included in the wheelchair user’s ticket.

People with visual impairment:

In addition to the seats for wheelchair users, there are seats for the blind in Block O8 in the Heinz von Heiden Arena with live game commentary (entrance fee: 10 euros). The live reporters sit among the visually impaired and offer them detailed explanations of the game for 90 minutes. This means that even blind people can see the Reds game in their “mind’s eye” and at the same time enjoy the real live atmosphere. Hannover 96 provides the technical equipment for this service.

We have provided wheelchair spaces (with live game commentary) in Block O8 for people with visual impairments who rely on a wheelchair. The accompanying person is in the stadium to look after the disabled person and has free entry; the seat provided is in the immediate vicinity of the visually impaired person.

Deaf people:

Deaf and visually impaired people: There are also places available for these people in Block O8. The carer of the deaf/visually impaired people looks after these people throughout the entire game.

People with other severe disabilities:

People with other severe disabilities are welcome to contact our disability officer Detlef Kühne (see below) at any time if they have any questions.

Service center: You can reach us from Monday to Thursday from 9am to 6pm and on Friday from 9am to 4pm

Telephone: 01806 – 189600 (max. 0.20 euros from landlines, mobile phones 0.60 euros)

Parking spaces:

As before, people with the “Special Parking Permit for Severely Disabled People with Exceptional Walking Disabilities” will be allowed through by the police and security services to the parking lot (P4) of the State Sports Association (LSB) on Ferdinand-Wilhelm-Fricke-Weg. From there, disabled access is easy to reach at the south entrance (entrance tickets for blocks S1-9, S10-16, O5-8 and O14-17).
