Fence and fan club flags: Maximum dimensions: height 1.10m. The openings of the escape gates and the advertising boards must not be overhung.
7 waving flags: Flagsticks may have a maximum length of 4.50 m.
3 megaphones (already taken)

However, they are not allowed

Double holder
Block flags
Pyrotechnics of any kind
Liquids, bottles, thermoses, power banks
Cameras with removable lenses

VfL Bochum assumes that all fence flags, flags and banners that are larger than DIN A3 are flame-retardant and reserves the right to carry out appropriate checks on match day.

Fence flags topic:

As you may have noticed from the guest appearances of VfB Stuttgart and Gladbach in Bochum, they pay very close attention to how and where fence flags are placed. There were interruptions and delays in both games because escape gates were not kept clear as required.

This has consequences for our game in Bochum:

We had to report fence flags that were longer than 4.50m to VfL Bochum in advance. Please refrain from bringing unannounced fence flags larger than 4.50m on Sunday.
We recommend that you hand in your flag at the lead singers‘ podium after you arrive at the ultra scene. The boys will then, in cooperation with us, hang up all the banners according to the specifications – so we don’t need to bother you with the details. If flags are hanging “incorrectly” on the fence, we would otherwise reserve the right to reposition them.

Bags and backpacks:

Bags up to A4 size can be taken into the stadium. There is no drop-off point for bags larger than A4. It may therefore make sense for fans arriving by train to rent a locker at the main station.

General:

During VfL Bochum1848 games, there is also a ban on glass in the stadium and the surrounding area. At this point it should also be expressly pointed out that wearing “Thor Steinar” brand clothing is not permitted in the Ruhrstadion. The same applies to all other fashion labels with a racist, xenophobic, extremist and/or discriminatory background, even if this is not relevant under criminal law.

Outlet:

If necessary, pay attention to the information on the stadium screen, the stadium announcer’s announcements and follow the instructions of the security staff.

Information about the contact point “Eighteen ATTENTION! Fourty“:

Initial contact with the contact point: During the match day, specially trained volunteers can be reached by telephone two hours before and one hour after the final whistle on the mobile number 0151 41445236 and via common messenger services. In principle, all people from the groups of volunteers, security services, kiosks, fan representatives, fan projects, medical services and VfL employees can also be contacted.

Focus on those affected: The contact point focuses primarily on the person affected and their needs – not on possible perpetrators. It is not designed to investigate or control and is therefore not suitable for tracking people or following up on tips. If a crime or a violation of the house rules is reported, the security service or the police will be called in at the request of the person concerned. It is then up to them to assess the situation and initiate possible measures.
