Fan Information for the Braunschweig Game

On Saturday lunchtime (February 15th/1pm) SV Darmstadt 98 will be guests at Eintracht Braunschweig. In this message we provide you with all the important information for your visit to the Eintracht Stadium. For those who decide at short notice: There will be a box office on match day where payments can only be made with cash.

An important piece of information in advance: There will be a box office for away fans on Saturday, but payment can only be made with cash.

Arrival/Parking

For the navigation system:

EINTRACHT STADIUM, Hamburger Str. 210, 38112 Braunschweig.

Directions to the stadium:

By car you can get to the A 391 from the north via the A2 (Hannover – Berlin) and from the south via the A39 (triangle Salzgitter – Braunschweig). Follow the signs to the Hansestrasse exit so that you can approach the stadium from the north. At the end of the highway turn right towards the center/stadium. Then please follow the signs to the EINTRACHT STADIUM. We strongly advise against traveling via Hamburger Straße.

Parking spaces:

Buses, 9-seaters and cars park free of charge in the P4 car park in front of the guest entrance (this will be filled to capacity); beyond this there is no designated guest parking space. There are very few parking spaces available in the stadium area. If the P4 parking lot has reached its capacity limit, parking along Gifhorner Straße out of town is recommended. Parking in the Schwarzer Berg residential area is not recommended. The parking lot opens at 10:30am, two and a half hours before the game starts.

Arrival from the train station:

For fans of the visiting club who arrive by train, a free shuttle bus is available from 10.30am for the return transfer to the EINTRACHT STADIUM.

Stadium

Box office: There will be a box office on Saturday, which will be open from 11am. However, you can only pay with cash here. Standing and seated tickets for the guest block are still available.

Guest blocks: The guest fans‘ area is located in Block 19 (standing room) and Block 18 (seated room). Access to blocks 19 and 18 is via the guest parking lot (P4), which is accessible from Hamburger Straße. Access to the seating guest block 1LÜ is via the main entrance. There is no access to the guest blocks from Rheingoldstrasse or Guntherstrasse (south curve entrances) or the main entrance (except Block 1LÜ). Please follow the signs “Nordkurve”.

Stadium opening: The stadium gates open 90 minutes before the start of the game at 11:30am.

Guest parking lot P4: There is an additional, free toilet container for guest fans on P4 in front of the stadium interior. There are also sufficient sanitary facilities available in the guest area inside the stadium.

Taking cameras: Taking digital cameras into the EINTRACHT STADIUM is generally permitted. It is forbidden to take video cameras and semi-professional photo equipment (SLR cameras, etc.) with you. Commercial use of private images is not permitted.

Alcohol serving and catering: Non-alcoholic and alcoholic drinks and food are offered.

Method of payment: In addition to paying with cash, there is also the option of paying by contactless throughout the Eintracht Stadium with a debit or credit card or, if activated, by cell phone or smartwatch. The exception to this is the box office in the guest area.

Backpacks/Bags: Backpacks and larger bags larger than A4 cannot be taken into the stadium. To the left of the admission control is the free baggage drop-off area. The items handed in are stored here in return for a double stamp being issued (note: no liability is assumed for valuables).

Stadium ban: People with a nationwide stadium ban can stay in the guest parking lot P4 behind the guest entrance during the game. Toilet facilities are available, leaving P4 is not permitted. There is no suitable location for stadium ban activists near the stadium.

Fan utensils: The material check takes place to the left of the guest entrance. Intensive random checks are also carried out there. The area is visible to the public; fan support, fan projects and fan assistance are invited to visually accompany the controls.

Permitted fan materials:

  • Small flags (stick length up to 1.5 meters)
  • Ten large waving flags (stick length over 2 meters)
  • Double holder (stick length up to 1.5 meters)
  • Fence flags if there is space (attached in consultation with the security service and fan support on the plexiglass wall in the upper area of ​​the guest block and on the entire front fence. The escape gate must always be open!)
  • Three megaphones
  • Five drums
  • Adhesive tape (for attaching fence flags)
  • Belt bags (will be checked)

Not permitted are:

  • Block flags
  • Food and drinks
  • Confetti, cash register and paper rolls, balloons, sparklers
  • Materials and objects used for provocation – All in the Stadium Rules and the ATGB’s listed items

Stadium regulations/ATGB:

By purchasing an admission ticket, the currently valid stadium regulations for the EINTRACHT STADIUM as well as the General Ticket Terms and Conditions (ATGB) of Eintracht Braunschweig are accepted. Further information can be found here Homepage.

Eintracht points out that when purchasing tickets outside of the two guest fan blocks, please note that in certain areas of the stadium (south curve blocks 5-9 and east stand blocks 10-14 as well as in the north curve in blocks 15 to 17) wearing opposing fan clothing is not permitted and access to these blocks and/or the stadium may be refused.

Information for people with disabilities

Information for wheelchair users:

Our guests‘ wheelchair users are placed on the NORD wheelchair ramp in the main stand of the EINTRACHT STADIUM near the guest blocks. Tickets for visiting fans in wheelchairs are available in advance via the visiting club or, depending on availability, on match day at box office 10 (guest car park P4). Guest parking space P4 is available for wheelchair users. Admission is via the entrance in the guest area directly on P4. The disabled toilet for wheelchair users is located between blocks 1 and 19 (marathon gate between the main stand and the north curve), directly at the entrance to the wheelchair ramp. In the cold season, thermal and electric blankets are also available for wheelchair users in the guest area at the EINTRACHT Stadium. Information for visually impaired viewers:

Visually impaired and blind football fans also have the opportunity to experience their team’s games live at the EINTRACHT STADIUM. The entire game is commented on by two presenters via a wireless headphone system. There are a total of ten seats available in Block 4 on our main stand. Due to limited capacity, away fans are asked to inquire about available seats in advance of the match. Interested parties are welcome to send an email to Eintracht Braunschweig (ticketing@eintracht.com).

Reporting office for discrimination, harassment and sexual assault: An emergency telephone number is available directly during the match day on 0531 – 2323 067. This can be found in all toilets in the stadium using a QR code. Anyone affected by a situation that is perceived as crossing borders or threatening can call this number and receive support within a very short time. Witnesses of incidents can also contact the emergency number or contact email address. In addition, the employees of the security service, the fan and inclusion fan support, the fan project, the fan institutions and organizations at their stands and the police are available as contact persons.
