Fan information for the Düsseldorf game

On Sunday afternoon (September 21st at 1:30pm), SV Darmstadt 98 will visit Fortuna Düsseldorf. We'll provide you with all the important information for your visit to the stadium in this report. For last-minute Lilies fans: There will be a ticket office for the away section on-site.

Arrival / Parking

Cars, nine-seaters, and buses:
Navigation address: Messe Düsseldorf, Parking Lot P2, Stockumer Höfe, 40474 Düsseldorf.

Guest fans arriving by car, nine-seater, or bus should use the guest parking lot P2. Coming from the A44, please take the Stockum exit. From there, follow the signs. Unfortunately, these parking spaces cannot be provided free of charge. Parking fees are €8.00 for cars, €20.00 for vans (nine-seaters), and €35.00 for buses.

IMPORTANT: Starting this season, the usual multi-use area at the noise barrier is unfortunately no longer available for buses. Buses will now be directed to P2 Field 21.

A total of 1,200 parking spaces are available for away fans in parking lot P2.

Arrival by train:
No shuttle buses will be operated on match days. Away fans should take the U78 from Düsseldorf Central Station to the Arena/Messe Nord stop, exit on the right, and use the „Löwengang“ opposite, between Exhibition Hall 8 and the arena, to reach the away section.

After the game, the Löwengang will be closed briefly to ensure fan separation.

Wheelchair tickets and parking spaces:
Wheelchair spaces are located in Block 20, on the straightaway of the East Stand, or in the Merkur Stand.
Tickets for wheelchair users (including an accompanying person) cost €14.
Tickets can also be purchased at the North West ticket office.
For last-minute arrivals, wheelchair users will receive free parking in the P2 away parking lot.

Visually Impaired Fans:
Fortuna offers a commentary audio system for visually impaired fans. Two seats are reserved for away fans in Block 1 of the Merkur Grandstand.

Stadium

Away section: North-East Entrance.
Away sections: The away section extends to blocks 19–21 (standing area) and 125–132 in the upper tier (seated).
Stadium opens at 12pm.
Box Office: There will be a box office on Sunday, which also opens at 12pm. Please note: There is a €2 surcharge for standing tickets and €3 for seats.
Stadium/Tickets: Tickets for the away section are gray/silver, and access is only possible via the North-East Entrance. Tickets for the remaining sections of the stadium are red, and access is only possible via the South and North-West Entrances. The North-East Entrance cannot be accessed with red tickets. The South Stand (lower and upper tiers) is the home section of Fortuna fans. Entry with the colours or symbols of the away team is not permitted. Guest colours and symbols are not permitted in the south circulation area; visitors are advised to stay away from the glass doors.

Photos & Cameras: All cameras without interchangeable lenses and digital cameras are permitted. Professional SLR cameras, audio and video recording devices, and other professional equipment are not permitted.

Bags and backpacks are prohibited in the stadium. Only small bags up to A4 size are permitted inside. There is a limited drop-off point at the guest entrance.

All banners, flags, and flagpoles will also be checked (for prohibited items).

Reporting Center for Discriminatory Incidents:
Fortuna has partnered with MeDiF-NRW, the reporting center for discriminatory incidents in football in North Rhine-Westphalia. If you notice anything in the stadium, please report it not only to us but also there: https://medif-nrw.de/de/vorfall-melden/

The following fan items are permitted:
– Five megaphones (already allocated)
– Up to five drums (visible, open at the bottom, already allocated)
– 25 double flag holders
– 20 waving flags
– Unlimited small flags
The emergency exit gates in the lower tier must be able to be opened.

New: Since the 2025/26 season, the upper tier has had an LED board – this will be turned off during your away game. Fence flags may be attached to the parapet in the upper tier for the time being.

Fence flags: Can be affixed to the fence in the standing area, except at the exit gates, and to the parapet in the upper tier. When affixing them to the fence, please ensure that the fence above the entrance is not climbed due to the risk of falling. Caution: The fences are spiked, which have caused cuts on several occasions.

Prohibited items include:
– Confetti
– Balloons
– Pyrotechnics
– Block flags
– Sexist, discriminatory, and xenophobic banners
– Clothing items from the Thor Steinar, Consdaple, and Masterrace brands.
However, banners that are not made of B1 must be handed over to security after display or thrown into the hall.
