Fan Information for the Freiburg Game

SV Darmstadt 98 is traveling to the Breisgau region and will play SC Freiburg on Wednesday evening (December 3rd/6pm). This report provides you with all the important information for your visit to the stadium.

Arrival/Parking

Parking for fan buses:

The guest bus parking area is available for all large fan buses and is located directly next to the „Guests – E4“ entrance. Access is via Granadaallee; follow the signs for P1 – P4.

Parking for cars/nine-seaters:
Spectators arriving by car without a parking ticket can park in the nearby Freiburg Trade Fair parking lot. Parking there costs ten euros starting two hours before kickoff. Fans parking earlier pay only four euros.

Directions from the north (Karlsruhe/A5):

Please take the „Freiburg-Nord“ motorway exit and turn left onto the B294 towards Freiburg. Keep right and follow the B3 towards Freiburg. Exit the B3 at the „Gundelfingen“ exit.

The guest bus parking area is accessible via the signs to parking lots P1-P4.

For cars/nine-seaters wishing to park at the Freiburg Trade Fair parking lot: Follow the signs for „Messe“ (Trade Fair) on the B31 or the motorway access roads. We recommend using Hermann-Mitsch-Straße 3 in Freiburg as the address for your navigation system.

Directions from the south (Basel/A5):

Please take the „Freiburg-Mitte“ motorway exit and turn right onto the B31a towards Donaueschingen/Titisee-Neustadt. Then follow the separate signs to the parking lots.

For cars/nine-seaters wishing to park in the Freiburg Trade Fair parking lot: Follow the signs for „Messe“ on the B31 or the access roads from the motorway. We recommend using Hermann-Mitsch-Straße 3 in Freiburg as the address for your navigation system.

Public Transport:

The ticket entitles the holder to one free round trip to the stadium on the day of validity, starting five hours before kick-off and continuing until the end of service, within the public transport network of the Freiburg Regional Transport Association (RVF) (2nd class). For Print@Home tickets, registration is required for each passenger during the booking process, and proof of eligibility must be presented at the start of the journey.

Light Rail (VAG):
For the best way to get to the stadium, please use the four special light rail lines in the direction of the trade fair grounds. From the „Europa-Park Stadion“ stop, you can then reach the stadium on foot in approximately ten minutes.

Breisgau S-Bahn:
In addition to the light rail, you can also take the Breisgau S-Bahn directly to the stadium from anywhere in the network. The journey time to the „FR Messe / Universität“ stop from Freiburg Central Station (HBF), for example, is only three minutes. From the „FR Messe / Universität“ stop, you can reach the stadium on foot in approximately ten minutes.

Stadium

– Stadium opening: The stadium gates open 2 hours before kick-off. So on Wednesday at 4 pm.
– Box office: There will be NO box office for the guest area on Wednesday.
– Location of the away section: The away section is located in the northeast corner of the stadium. The standing areas are blocks N6 and N7 in the lower tier. The seating is located in blocks N16 and N17 in the upper tier. If a large number of away fans are expected, blocks N15 and N5 (both seating) can be added to the away section.
– In the away section: Access to the away fans‘ section is only permitted with neutral clothing or clothing in the away team’s colours! The same applies to away fans‘ paraphernalia.

Bag drop-off points: There are very limited drop-off options for backpacks and bags at the away entrance! (Fee: €2, cash only).

– Fanny packs and bags up to DIN A3 size are permitted inside the stadium, however, this significantly impacts the speed of security checks. We therefore ask you to leave your luggage on the bus or in your car, or, if necessary, rent a locker at the train station.

Catering and alcohol: Full-strength beer is usually served in the guest area.
– Food and drinks can be paid for in cash and by card (debit and credit card) at the respective sales stands.
– Note: Carrying non-alcoholic beverages is only permitted in Tetra Pak containers with a maximum capacity of 0.5l.
– Alcohol and drug influence: Persons under the influence of alcohol or drugs may be refused entry and/or prohibited from entering if conspicuous and/or security-relevant behaviour is observed or if such a prohibition is necessary for their own protection.
– Smoking is prohibited in all seating areas. Smoking is tolerated in standing areas. Smoking is permitted in the stadium concourse near the kiosks.

• Schwenkfahnen mit Teleskopstangen ab 2,0m Stocklänge
• Trommeln (einsehbar oder einseitig offen) inklusive 1 Paar Trommelstöcke je Trommel
• Megafone (inklusive 1 Satz Ersatzbatterien)
• Doppelhalter bis 2,0 m Stocklänge und Plastikleerrohren
• Fanclubbanner und Zaunfahnen. Direkt vor dem Block dürfen Fahnen an den Zaun gehängt werden, ebenso im Oberrang über dem Stehplatzbereich, solange Platz vorhanden ist. Die Fluchttore müssen über die gesamte Spielzeit frei bleiben.
Nicht erlaubt sind: Konfetti, Luftballons, Wurfrollen
