Fan information for the Paderborn game

Darmstadt 98 travel to Paderborn for their final match of the first half of the season on Friday (December 19th, 6:30pm). A ticket office with standing and seated tickets will be open on Friday. A surcharge of €2 will apply. Only cashless payments will be accepted at the ticket office. This announcement provides you with all the important information for your visit to the stadium.

Arrival/Parking

For your GPS: Wilfried-Finke-Allee 1, 33104 Paderborn.

By car/bus:

From the Brilon interchange (A44) and the Bielefeld interchange (A2), take the A33 towards Paderborn. Be sure to exit the A33 at the Paderborn-Elsen exit. After the exit, take the B1 towards Detmold/Bad Lippspringe. Go through the roundabout and after approximately 300 meters, take the Home Deluxe Arena exit. This two-lane road leads to parking lot P1, which is free of charge. If space is available, access to the away team bus parking area will be provided. Please follow the instructions of the security personnel.

Guest bus parking:

Use the directions above. Fan buses will be directed to the fenced guest bus parking area by security. Guest buses park free of charge in Paderborn.

Alternative car parking:

If parking lot P1 is full, you will be directed to the Nixdorf Park & ​​Ride. A shuttle service runs between the parking lot and the stadium every five minutes. The Park & ​​Ride address must be entered into your GPS: Riemekestraße 160, 33106 Paderborn. Parking at this location is also free.

By train/public transport:

From the main train station, you can reach the Home Deluxe Arena by taking bus lines 4 or 6. Get off at the Arena/Alme Aue stop. The stadium is a one-minute walk from the bus stop. On match days, shuttle buses will take you directly to the stadium. These buses run regularly from the main train station to the Home Deluxe Arena. Stadium

Stadium Opening Hours: The stadium opens 90 minutes before kickoff, at 5:00pm.

Visitor Ticket Office Opening Hours: This also opens 90 minutes before kickoff. Standing and seated tickets are still available.

IMPORTANT: A surcharge of €2.00 per ticket will be added at the ticket office. Please note: Only cashless payments are accepted!

– For discounted tickets, proof of eligibility for the discount must be presented at the entrance. If no proof of eligibility for the discount is available, the ticket must be upgraded to the full price.
– Power banks/extra batteries are not allowed in the Home Deluxe Arena and must be handed in at the entrance.
– Walking aids: Walking aids are not permitted in the standing and seating areas.
– Food and drink: At all food and drink stands, payment can only be made cashless and contactless using Girocard, all common debit and credit cards, as well as with smartphone or smartwatch via Apple Pay and Google Pay.
– The „Where’s Panama?“ safety concept was launched at the start of the 2024/2025 season. Should you or someone you know require support or assistance, please contact the staff at the food stand, the security personnel, or call using the phrase/code „Where’s Panama?“. Emergency medical services are available on-site. Due to the separation of sectors, individuals from the away section will be escorted to a shelter. The following fan materials are permitted:
– Small waving flags up to 2.00 m pole length with plastic conduit.
– 10 large waving flags with a pole length of over 2.00 m and a plastic conduit.
– 10 double holders for pole lengths up to 2.00 m with plastic conduit.
– Fence banners (attaching fence banners is permitted on the non-advertising railing).
– 5 drums (visible).
– 3 megaphones (spare batteries must be handed in to the area manager of the security service – exchange will be on a 1:1 basis).

The following are not permitted, among other things:
– Block flags.
– Stickers.
– Backpacks, drinks, and snacks brought from home (backpacks can be left free of charge at the guest entrance, are supervised during the game, and can be collected again after the game. No liability is accepted. There is only a limited number of storage spaces available on site. Please leave bags/backpacks in the bus/car).
– Walking aids.
– Pyrotechnics.

Further Information: 
– Due to the special construction of the stadium in Paderborn, all blocks are filled via stairs from below.
– The stairways leading to the stands, as well as the steps marked in blue, must be kept clear at all times – before, during, and after the game. Standing or occupying the stairs is prohibited. Security personnel are instructed to intervene in case of violations and to clear the necessary escape routes.
– Attaching fence banners is permitted on the advertising-free railing. Hanging over the LED banners and attaching them to the wave breakers is not allowed.

Fans with disabilities:
Wheelchair users: Three covered wheelchair spaces (including one accompanying person) are available in Block Y, directly next to the pitch. Tickets are only available in advance from the visiting club. Entry is via Entrance 5. Accessible parking spaces are located in parking lot P0. Wheelchair users will receive a parking permit (P0 SB) with their match ticket from the visiting club.

Visually impaired fans: Two seats (including one accompanying person) are available in Block A for visually impaired fans. Tickets can only be purchased in advance through the visiting club. Entry is via Entrance 5. Wireless headphone systems will be distributed directly in the block.
