Fan Information – Hamburg (A)

On Sunday afternoon (08.12/1.30pm) SV Darmstadt 98 will be guests at Hamburger SV. In this message we provide you with all the important information for your visit to the Volksparkstadion.

Arrival/Parking

Car/nine-seater:

Hamburger SV offers an exclusive guest parking space for our game on Sunday. This is located at the Bahrenfeld trotting track directly on Luruper Chaussee. According to the HSV, from there it is around a 20-minute walk via Luruper Chaussee and Stadionstraße to the guest entrance of the Volksparkstadion. An early arrival is recommended. The parking lot is recommended for cars and nine-seaters. The parking lot can be reached via the Bahrenfeld motorway exit on the A7.

Parking fee: There is a parking fee of €9.00 for cars and nine-seaters in all parking spaces

Important: This weekend the Elbe Tunnel will be completely closed due to construction work. The construction work ends on Sunday morning at 5am. All Lily fans who arrive by car on Friday or Saturday should drive into Hamburg via the Elbbrücken.

Buses:

Fan coaches: These are parked in the bus parking area on Schnackenburgallee.

Parking fee: Parking fees for coaches are €27.

 

Public transport:

From the “Othmarschen” S-Bahn station (barrier-free), free shuttle buses run to the stadium or to the stadium near the guest entrance approximately 2.5 hours before the start of the game. On Sunday from around 11 a.m.

The Othmarschen station can be reached from the main train station with the S1 S-Bahn line (green line). The last return journey back to Othmarschen starts approx. 90 minutes after the final whistle. The admission ticket allows you to travel there and back within the entire Hamburger Verkehrsverbund (HVV) area, including the express bus.

A special S-Bahn will be available at Hamburg Central Station on Sunday for Lily fans traveling by train.

Stadium

  • The stadium opens 2 hours before the start of the game.
  • A guest box office will not be open on match day.
  • Guest area: Access to the guest block (14 A standing room, 14 B/C seated) is at the south/west entrance.
  • Bags and backpacks larger than DIN A4 are not permitted. Larger bags and backpacks can be left at the bag container in the immediate vicinity of the guest entrance.
  • Cameras / digital cameras: private use only – no professional equipment.
  • Drinks: non-alcoholic drinks in a Tetra Pak up to 0.5l. can be taken into the stadium.
  • Alcohol: People who are heavily intoxicated will not be allowed into the stadium.
  • Payment: Within the stadium you can pay in cash or with an EC card.

Fan material

In principle, there are no restrictions on the number of fan materials such as drums, waving flags, banners/fence flags and megaphones. Only banners and choreographies need to be registered in advance. These must be made of B1 material (no wallpaper!) and must not contain any discriminatory content.

The right entrance is intended for all materials brought with you. Up to five people may accompany the material inspection. Stickers/decals and stick umbrellas are not permitted.

Fans with disabilities:

Access to the stadium:

The barrier-free entrance is via the wheelchair ramp at the south/east entrance. The HSV helpers in the red jackets are available to help and advise fans with disabilities at every home game around the Volksparkstadion and are happy to accompany them to their seats. The podium for away fans in wheelchairs is located behind Block 13 A. Seating is available there for accompanying persons.

Arrival and parking by car 

The “yellow” parking lot is available to guests marked “aG” for every home game. Access takes place from the “yellow” car park towards the campus to the disabled ramp. Please note that due to capacity limits, only those stadium visitors who have the note “aG” on their ID can use the parking lot.

After 13 unbeaten second-division matches, SV Darmstadt 98 suffered their first defeat this Friday evening. Three unfortunate minutes just before halftime, during which Patric Pfeiffer was sent off and Vincent Vermeij scored twice, paved the way for Dresden's victory. After the match, the focus was primarily on the differing assessments of two very similar incidents by the refereeing team – incidents which both coaches subsequently evaluated identically.
