Arrival/Parking

Car:

There are no parking spaces for cars directly at the Weser Stadium or in the immediate vicinity. For this reason, the park-and-ride area at Hemelinger Hafen is available for those arriving, which is signposted from the A1 Hemelingen motorway exit (#55). From there, a park-and-ride service leads directly to the Weser Stadium.

Buses:

Buses can be parked at Osterdeich near the stadium. The address “Osterdeich 90, 28205 Bremen” can be used for the navigation device.

Important: The area around the stadium is closed to private traffic for all SV Werder Bremen home games from 2.5 hours before kick-off until shortly after the end of the game.

Public transport:

The following tram lines stop five minutes from the stadium:

From the main station: Line 10 towards Sebaldsbrück, exit St. Jürgen Str.

From the city center: Line 2 towards Sebaldsbrück, exit at St. Jürgen Str. and line 3 towards Weserwehr, exit at Weserstadion.

Holders of a ticket for the respective game travel free of charge to the Weserstadion on buses and trains from BSAG and VBN.

Stadium

  • The stadium opens 90 minutes before the start of the game.
  • A guest box office will not be open on match day.
  • ATTENTION: The guest entrance is at gate 11 for standing room and seating. Access is via the street “Auf dem Peterswerder”. The material intake is to the right of the standing room entrance.
  • The usual control measures will take place at the entrance to the stadium. In addition, intensive checks are carried out selectively and, if desired, can take place under the supervision of third parties, e.g. fan projects or fan support.
  • It is not permitted to take bags and backpacks larger than DIN A4. So-called stadium bags are permitted.
  • Please note that there is limited bag and backpack storage at the guest area. Power banks the size of a palm are allowed. Taking e-cigarettes is permitted. So-called tube scarves are not permitted.
  • The “cashless payment” system is used at the kiosks in the guest area and throughout the rest of the stadium. Payment is therefore only possible without cash.

Fan-Material

In principle, away fans can take the following utensils with them:

  • Flags up to a stick length of 2m
  • Fence flags
  • After registering via the respective fan support, the following can be checked and, depending on the quantity, additionally approved:

Megaphones (plus corresponding spare batteries)
There are two platforms available on the fence of the standing area
Swivel flags (over 2m stick length)
Drums (open on one side or visible)
Double holder (up to 2m pole length)
Banners (“B1” fire protection standard must be met. Otherwise, please provide explicit information when registering)
Please note that flagsticks are made of PVC and must be hollow on the inside from a diameter of 3cm.

In order to streamline the entrance to the guest area, a separate entrance is provided for items that require registration. This is located immediately adjacent to the left side with a view of the inlet (marked “Material Control”).

In terms of content, it should be noted for all fan paraphernalia that clear discrimination, racism, insults or glorification of violence are not permitted in accordance with our stadium regulations and will be rejected.

Further information:

  • It is imperative that all fans keep the stairs in the guest block clear and that there are no gaps left in the standing rows when looking for a seat. Especially if the guest area is sold out, those who arrive last at the stadium will otherwise no longer be able to find a seat in the guest area. That’s why we ask all fans to be considerate of one another.
  • Carrying or consuming cannabis is generally not permitted.
  • The use of pyrotechnic items is prohibited in the Weser Stadium. In addition to the health and personal consequences, SV Werder would like to point out that the transparent and fair handling of the taking of fan paraphernalia for your club’s upcoming guest game in Bremen will be restricted if we discover that this handling has been misused.
  • At games in the Weserstadion, Werder Bremen’s house rules prohibit clothing brands with a direct reference to the right-wing extremist scene, e.g. Thor Steinar, as well as right-wing extremist symbols and tattoos (see stadium regulations).
  • It is strongly requested that you do not throw drinks, cups or food or even other liquids into neighbouring blocks. In the event of serious events, out of consideration for all fans, we unfortunately have to limit the take-away of food and drinks for your club’s next guest games.
  • There is a common formula when it comes to smoking in the Weser Stadium: 15+90+15! This means that from a quarter of an hour before kick-off until 15 minutes after the final whistle, the Green-Whites ask all visitors inside the stadium not to smoke. This also applies to e-cigarettes and the like.
  • Do you feel harassed, harassed or threatened in the Weserstadion? Then contact the Werder staff with the sentence “Do you know MIKA?” or directly on the telephone number: 0421/434594000. There you will be helped discreetly and directly, without asking any questions.
