For the third year in a row, the Merck Stadium at Böllenfalltor will be transformed into a giant open-air bedroom. The overnight event has a serious purpose: to raise awareness of homelessness in Germany, and specifically in the Darmstadt region, SV 98 is once again organising the stadium sleepover for charity. On the night of November 29th to 30th, 2025 (Saturday to Sunday), Lilies fans can participate and spend the night under the open sky at the Bölle.
There are several ways for Darmstadt fans to participate in the open-air sleepover. For €98, they can secure their sleeping spot for a special night at the Bölle stadium: The price includes a sleeping mat and a sleeping bag, which will be distributed to homeless people in the city after the event. Any surplus funds remaining after the purchase of the sleeping mats and bags will be donated to Darmstadt organisations working with the homeless. Registration is open until November 16th.
Of course, you can also participate in the event free of charge and bring your own equipment. It’s also possible to attend only the lecture program that evening and not stay overnight at the Bölle. This is also free of charge. However, we ask that you register in advance for these options here as well.
The stadium gates open at 5:30pm. From 6pm onwards, all participants can attend various presentations and personal accounts on the topic of homelessness in the main grandstand.
A light evening snack will be served around 8pm. Sleeping mats and sleeping bags will be distributed from 10pm onwards, and participants can then find their own sleeping places (excluding the playing field).
Please note that quiet hours begin at 10:30pm. If anyone gets too cold or feels unwell during the night, there is a warm place to retreat to in the main grandstand.
A light breakfast will be available outdoors from 6:30am the following morning. The event is scheduled to conclude at 8:00am.
