FuFa of SV 98 elects new department management

Over 120 members of SV Darmstadt 98's fan and supporter department gathered on Tuesday (September 29th) for the FuFa department meeting at the Merck Stadium at Böllenfalltor – more than ever before. Markus Pfitzner, representing the executive committee, welcomed those present and praised the outstanding work of the FuFa and the volunteers. "With so much passion and commitment, volunteers are the heart of SVD," said the vice president of the Lilies. Later that evening, those present elected a new department management.

Pfitzner thanked everyone for their tremendous support and gave an outlook on the general meeting on October 21, 2025. This was followed by the report from the department management, represented by department head Roy Reinelt-Peter, who spoke about a diverse and successful year with many highlights from the department. The volunteer teams followed this report by presenting outstanding results and activities from the past year. A very special greeting went to Lily gardener Sabine: „The FuFa is with you, we are thinking of you!“ The reports concluded with much applause and praise, and the upcoming elections followed.

Department head Roy Reinelt-Peter was no longer standing for re-election and was bid farewell. He thanked the members, volunteers, and FuFa department management present for their excellent cooperation and was warmly bid farewell. Cem Tevetoglu also stepped down from the department management; due to family reasons, he was not standing for re-election. He will nevertheless remain with FuFa as a volunteer supporter.

Daniel Ploch new FuFa department head

The department heads up for election were then introduced. Michael Rühl, a new treasurer, applied for the team, and Harald Herdegen applied for the new assessor position. From the previous department heads, Nico Würtz, Markus Polak, Florian Schneider (deputy head of department), and Daniel Ploch (department head) were up for election. The election was held en bloc. With the exception of the abstentions of the candidates (6), there were no dissenting votes and no further abstention– thus, the new department heads were elected unanimously.

Michael Rühl was still serving as auditor B, but his election as treasurer meant he can no longer hold this position. Therefore, two new auditors had to be elected – one for one year and one for two years. Miles Arnold and Ulrike Marucelli were up for election. Both were unanimously elected, with seven abstentions, for one year as auditors A (Miles Arnold) and B (Ulrike Marucelli) for two years.

The amendments to the department statutes were also adopted by a large majority of those present, with seven abstentions and no dissenting votes.

The meeting ended around 8pm. Those present enjoyed a pleasant end to the evening with pleasant conversations. The Fan and Supporter Department thanks everyone in attendance!
