The program combines weekly soccer meetings with practical career guidance support. Young refugees and Darmstadt residents without refugee experience train side by side, get to know each other, and benefit from career guidance support and get-togethers with Lilien partners. „Fit for the Future“ thus makes a significant contribution to integration, participation, and social interaction.
Martin Kowalewski, Managing Director of Marketing & Sales: „With HAIX, we are gaining a strong partner who shares our social responsibility and fully supports the „Fit for the Future“ project. Sport can build bridges, as our project has proven for many years. The fact that a company like HAIX is now supporting our commitment in this way and shares the idea behind it is an important signal for our city and our region. Together, we are committed to ensuring that integration doesn’t remain just a slogan, but is lived in everyday life.“
Michael Haimerl, shareholder and managing director of HAIX: „The social commitment „Under the Sign of the Lily“ impressively demonstrates how sport has an impact far beyond the pitch: It connects people, creates encounters, and opens up new perspectives. With the „Fit Forward“ project, SV Darmstadt 98 and HAIX are setting a strong example for integration and social togetherness. We at HAIX are proud to support this valuable program and thus give young refugees and locals the opportunity to grow together – athletically, professionally, and personally.“
