Flag Day on the Bölle | Arania celebrates professional debut

Young player Asaf Arania was able to experience a very special moment at the Lilies' away game in Wolfsburg. In the 85th minute, Torsten Lieberknecht substituted the U19 player; it was the first Bundesliga minutes for the 18-year-old right-back. For the last home game of this Bundesliga season, the Südkurve has thought of something special again: “Flag home game day” has been declared for Sunday (12.05/3.30pm). Next week, SV 98 will write to all season ticket holders and, as every year, give them the opportunity to extend their season ticket. As usual, every season ticket holder will receive the details of this procedure by email in good time. After their loans: Sesay and Crosthwaite will remain with their clubs

John Peter Sesay and Henry-Jon Crosthwaite will not return to SV 98 after the end of this season. For both players, contractual conditions were met over the course of the current season, which will result in the previous loan contracts being converted into a permanent deal. Sesay is now contractually bound to the Luxembourg first division club Union Titus Petingen, Crosthwaite now has a further contract with Hallescher FC. It was agreed not to disclose further details.
