Dear Darmstadt fans,
The final whistle has blown, and things are finally starting to calm down at the Böllenfalltor stadium. A draw in Paderborn brings to a close a strong first half of the season with only two defeats and 33 well-deserved points. We can all say with complete conviction: 2025 was a good year for Darmstadt 98! We have a team that is a perfect ambassador for our Lilies – ambitious, driven, but also down-to-earth and approachable. Under Flo Kohfeldt’s leadership, the team has steadily improved and gained stability throughout the year.
But it’s not just the good results on the pitch that make this a good year. The club is in a stable position. The members‘ meeting at the end of October unanimously supported us as the new board; we are united and focused. Our thanks go to our many supporters: from our staff to all the volunteers, from the sponsors to each and every one of you who enthusiastically cheer on the Lilies in the stadium. Some are more in the spotlight, others less so. But one thing is certain: you are all a piece of the puzzle of our current success.
Now it’s time for family and friends, to relax and unwind. Enjoy this time with your loved ones and raise a glass to your beloved club under the Christmas tree. With renewed strength and energy, we will start the new year together. Game by game, point by point. We wish you all a merry blue-and-white Christmas and a healthy and happy New Year!
