+++ New Bundesliga record player for the Lilies +++

The SVD has a new Bundesliga record player. Thanks to his appearance last Saturday in Mainz, Lilien captain Fabian Holland now has 66 Bundesliga games for Darmstadt 98, overtaking Marcel Heller, who once played in 65 first division games for the South Hesse team. In total, Holland now has 295 appearances for the 98ers, only three players can boast more appearances in the lily jersey: Edwin Westenberger (373), Dieter Rudolf and Oliver Posniak (both 342). The 33-year-old Holland has been playing at Böllenfalltor since 2014 and was used in 50 Bundesliga games from 2015 to 2017. The Berlin native once moved from Hertha to southern Hesse.

+++ Happy Birthday, Paul Fernie! +++

We can’t just congratulate Paul Fernie on his new job as sports director at SV Darmstadt 98, but also on his birthday: This Wednesday (April 10th) he can look forward to his 37th birthday. The native Englishman was most recently the sporting director at Wehen Wiesbaden and is now coming to Böllenfalltor. He will officially start working for SV 98 next week. The presentation will take place at a press conference on Tuesday (April 16). We wish you a nice day and all the best for your start with the Lilies!

+++ Watch the SVD during training! +++

This week it will again be possible for SV 98 fans to see the lilies during training. The training sessions on Wednesday (April 10th), Thursday (April 11th) and Saturday (April 13th) are all open to the public. Head coach Torsten Lieberknecht’s team will train at the Böllenfalltor every day from 3 p.m. The team is looking forward to your visit before the home game against SC Freiburg on Sunday.

+++ Second team away support required +++

The last game of the Lilien fan team was two and a half weeks ago, the top game against FTG Pfungstadt II scheduled for last weekend was postponed to Wednesday next week (April 17th/7:30pm). But before the top duel, Zwote coach Andreas Degenhardt’s team will face DJK-SSG Darmstadt next Saturday (April 13th/6:30pm). The eighth-place team plays its home games on Kranichsteinerstrasse in Darmstadt. In order to perhaps be able to get involved in the fight for the relegation place, the second team needs an away win and your support.

+++ “Lilien-Kater”: Bölle book reading on Thursday +++

On Thursday evening (April 11th/7pm) author Michael Kibler will read his crime novel “Lily-Tomcat”. In the Lilien Box in the Merck Stadium at the Böllenfalltor, the audience can look forward to the exciting book. Tickets are no longer available for the evening and the event is already sold out. We will then give you an insight into the evening on our website.

Fan Evening

As part of our monthly fan evenings, we would like to provide the opportunity for exchange between the club and its members and fans. We realised how important this exchange is after the Augsburg game and are generally of the opinion that we have to constantly develop, improve and design many things together at the rebuilt Bölle. We would therefore like to focus on the various stands at intervals during our fan evenings in the future. And then we use the collected results and experiences to create the overall stadium experience „Böllenfalltor“.
