Back in June, we reported on the two soccer camps in the USA, which attracted a total of around 70 children. In addition to visiting the camp in San Antonio, Lilien CEO Martin Kowalewski also met with then-Mayor Ron Nirenberg in Texas‘ oldest city. „It’s very exciting to see how the partnership between the two clubs has already developed,“ said the 48-year-old, adding: „I’m really looking forward to future projects.“
During his time in San Antonio, Kowalewski also met with members of SS&E’s management, attended an SAFC game, and gained extensive insight into the facilities and training facilities of the San Antonio Spurs, the five-time NBA champions who, like the SAFC, are part of Spurs Sports & Entertainment.
„It was an exciting exchange that taught us a great deal,“ he said after his trip: „These days once again demonstrated how valuable personal exchange is and how open everyone involved is. Looking back on our cooperation so far, we can say that we have been able to implement everything we had planned, and further special projects are already in the planning stages.“
