Game day quote:

Braunschweig is in a good phase and has come out of the winter break very well. They picked up a total of five points against tough opponents in the new year. Eintracht has done a lot on the winter transfer market. And all the new players were in the starting line-up against Karlsruhe. Especially when they take the lead, they are very uncomfortable with their strong central defence in the back three.

Florian Kohfeldt, Head Coach of SV Darmstadt 98

Opposition View:

Daniel Scherning, head coach of Eintracht Braunschweig, before the duel: „We know that this will be a very interesting, exciting and difficult task. A lot has happened at Darmstadt since Florian Kohfeldt took over as coach. Despite their very tense personnel situation, they have a very, very good first eleven that will come to us. We have to do the things that we didn’t do so well in Karlsruhe much better in order to win the game.“

The Officials:

  • Referee: Dr. Max Burda
  • Assistants: René Rohde and Fynn Kohn
  • Fourth Official: Tobias Wittmann
  • VAR: Katrin Rafalski and Dr. Justus Zorn

It will be around 1 degree cold for the game in Braunschweig – with an overcast sky. The chance of precipitation during the game is 35 percent.
