One year of the digital jersey museum | Cup draw on Sunday

The next fan evening is just around the corner, the Lilies' digital jersey museum is celebrating its first birthday and the draw for the second round of the DFB Cup will take place on Sunday. You can find many current topics about SV 98 in our weekly section;Lilies across the Board.

+++ Fan evening with a focus on “The Young Lilies” +++

The next fan evening will take place in the Lilienschänke next Monday (September 2nd) from 7pm. The aim of the monthly event is the exchange between the club, members and fans. This time Björn Kopper (Head of Academy) and Björn Müller (Sports Director of Academy) are available to answer all questions about the youth sector and the newly introduced U21. We look forward to your coming!

+++ Clear victory for “Zwote” +++

The “Zwote” celebrated a clear victory on the fourth matchday. The duel with TuS Griesheim ended 5-2. Thanks to their success, the fan team now has seven points and is in fifth place in the table. After a weekend without games, the encounter with FC Ober-Ramstadt II is scheduled for Wednesday (September 4th). Kick-off is at 7:30pm.

+++ #OnThisDay: Opening of the digital jersey museum +++

A year ago, SV Darmstadt 98 implemented a special project: a virtual club museum. Since September 1st, 2023, all Lily fans have had the opportunity to experience a journey through time without leaving the house. The digital collection includes SV 98 jerseys from different decades and in all possible variations. “This digital club museum is a milestone for our club and allows us to revive the memories and successes of bygone times,” said President Rüdiger Fritsch at the museum opening.

Entry into the digital world of memory and nostalgia is here. The website is available free of charge at any time.

We are also looking forward to further expanding our collection. If you have rare jerseys or old Lily devotional items for our online club museum, please get in touch archiv@sv98.de.

+++ DFB Cup: draw on Sunday +++

With a 3-1 win against FC Teutonia 05 Ottensen, SV 98 secured their ticket for the second round of the DFB Cup. Next Sunday the draw will take place in the Football Museum in Dortmund and all the Lilies will find out which opponent they will face. The next round will take place on October 29th and 30th. .

+++ Test against Mainz 05 +++

Lilies football during the international break. On Wednesday (September 4th) SV 98 will play against Bundesliga club 1. FSV Mainz 05. The match will be held at the Bruchwegstadion in Mainz, with kick-off taking place at 2pm.

Tickets for the game are only available on match day at the Bruchwegstadion box office. This opens at 1pm.

After 13 unbeaten second-division matches, SV Darmstadt 98 suffered their first defeat this Friday evening. Three unfortunate minutes just before halftime, during which Patric Pfeiffer was sent off and Vincent Vermeij scored twice, paved the way for Dresden's victory.
