SV 98 and SVD Beaumont Texas: Partnership with a sporting and social focus

In addition to the collaboration with San Antonio FC announced in July 2024, the Lilies are cooperating as part of their internationalisation strategy with SVD Beaumont Texas, a soccer club in southeast Texas that was founded by Lilien fans with the support of SV Darmstadt 98.

The collaboration between SV Darmstadt 98 and SVD Beaumont Texas places a particular focus on the social component of football. Both clubs see football as a valuable tool for social integration and have set themselves the common goal of giving disadvantaged young people in the Texas region access to this sport. With this initiative, SV Darmstadt 98 aims to further expand its international presence and create new ways of interacting with its fans in the USA.

Through exchange programs, trainer training and youth camps, young people – regardless of their social or economic background – are given the opportunity to develop their sporting skills and benefit from the collaboration with SV Darmstadt 98. The partnership thus creates a platform on which young people can develop their sporting and personal potential, which not only promotes their sporting skills but also improves their social and professional prospects.

Football serves as a unifying element, opening up new perspectives for young people and teaching them values such as teamwork, discipline and fairness.
