Quarter Final of DFB-Pokal: SVD travel to Werder
The round of 16 in the DFB Cup has been drawn: SV Darmstadt 98 will face Werder Bremen away in the round of 16. This was the result of the official draw on Sunday evening (November 3rd) in the Sportschau. Live on ARD, André Schnura, who became known as the European Championship saxophonist, drew the lot of the Lilies against the Bundesliga club under the supervision of draw manager Rudi Völler.
Paul Fernie: „Although we’re playing against a Bundesliga team, our goal is still clear: we definitely want to reach the quarter-finals of the DFB Cup. We’re really looking forward to the game against Werder Bremen.“
Florian Kohfeldt: „My connection to and my sympathies for Werder Bremen remains huge, and I have never made a secret of it. That’s why it is of course something special for me to return with Darmstadt 98 to the place with which I have so many memories „We still have a few competitive games to play before the game takes place and we want to build on our recent performances and results.“
The round of 16 in the DFB Cup will take place on December 3rd at 8:45. The DFB confirmed the exact date on November 6th.
