“We had a very good training camp with a lot of lessons learned from two games against strong friendly opponents from the Bayernliga and the Regionalliga Bayern,” concluded Daniel Petrowsky. The tests were against TSV Karlburg (1:1) and FC Eintracht Bamberg (2:3). The trainer added: “We also used the time to get to know each other better and grow together. We found excellent conditions again and everyone felt very comfortable.”
The conclusion of Björn Müller, NLZ sporting director, was similar. The training camp was very helpful for the coaching staff and the team. “The focus was on the two games, but above all on getting to know each other further. Some players only take part because they also train and play with the professionals. For this we need a strong core and a high level of teamwork.” His verdict: “I have observed a very positive atmosphere and a high level of motivation and can draw a very positive conclusion here from Tauberbischofsheim.”
The top talent team will kick off the Hessenliga with a home game on July 28th. At 3pm the young Lilies will welcome Hünfelder SV on the FC Alsbach sports field (Am Sportfeld 1, 64665 Alsbach-Hähnlein).
