The first session of the new season will be public and starts at 11am. We took a closer look at how much Darmstadt 98 has in the home European Championship. Klaus Gjasula is playing with the Albanian national team in the tough group stage: Albania meets Italy, Croatia and Spain in Group B. Former SVD player Laszlo Kleinheisler is also still playing. The Hungarian and his team will still face the German selection. In the first group game against Switzerland, Kleinheisler came on as a substitute in the 67th minute, but was unable to prevent the 3-1 defeat. Sandro Wagner and Hamit Altintop are no longer active on the pitch, but are still there. The flower bed on Karl-Hess-Platz in front of the Merck Stadium at the Böllenfalltor shines with new freshness. Sabine Schmidt’s team of volunteer Lily gardeners replanted the area in front of the north-west entrance, and bees and bumblebees have already been spotted on the bed. We would like to thank you very much for the new planting and are pleased about the visual improvement.
