Winter training camp in El Saler / Fan trip for members

SV Darmstadt 98 will once again be preparing for the second half of the 2025/26 season in El Saler, Spain, this winter break. From January 4th to 11th, the Lilies will once again be in the coastal town near Valencia. Training will take place as usual at the football facilities of the team hotel, the "Parador de El Saler." As in the previous year, SV 98 is offering its members an escorted trip to the training camp.

Fan trip to El Saler (VIP package also available)

From January 8th to 12th, a direct flight from Frankfurt will take the group to Valencia, where they will be met at the airport by the SV 98 fan support team. From there, they will continue their journey to a central mid-range hotel (4-star hotel for VIP trips) in Valencia.

Two transfers to the Lilies‘ training sessions will be offered until Sunday. If a match is held during the respective period, a transfer to an SV 98 friendly match will also be provided. This match may take place well outside of Valencia. There will also be a meet & greet with individual players and club officials at the team hotel.

To get even better acquainted with Valencia, the country, and its people, a city tour (in English and German) and a guided paella preparation session are part of the program. As a souvenir, all travelers will receive an exclusive training camp fan scarf. Participants on the VIP trip will also receive a match-worn jersey from a training camp friendly match.

Of course, there’s still time to explore the city on your own. If the timing is right, it’s also possible to arrange a visit to a La Liga home game of Valencia CF or UD Levante.

On Monday, the return trip to the airport is scheduled. The SV 98 fan support team will be on site in Valencia for the entire duration of the trip and will be available to provide advice and support to all participants.

The tour is guaranteed with a minimum of 12 participants by Tuesday (September 23rd), 10:00am.
