SV 98 has set the framework for its preparation for the upcoming 2024/25 second division season. The Lilien will be back at the Merck Stadium at the Böllenfalltor from June 20th for medical tests and performance diagnostics. The first training session on the pitch will take place on June 22nd. The Bundesliga season officially ended on May 18th, and SV 98's relegation was finalised on April 28th. It was a season that had to be processed and discussed in many areas. We spoke to Rüdiger Fritsch about many topics that played a part in a season that all lilies would have imagined differently.
The first Krombach fan tour took place last weekend (May 18th) with almost 200 Lilien fans. For the last Bundesliga game of the season we went to Dortmund together to support SV Darmstadt 98 for the last time in the Bundesliga.
“I always liked the underdog role, it was interesting for me to see a small club working so well. In the case of Darmstadt 98, it really touched my heart,” says Sam Donovan in the latest issue of “Lilien-Köpfe”. Sam is English and lives in Newcastle. He is a teacher there and also works on a voluntary basis for the Lilies. Among other things, Sam looks after the English website and the English-language Twitter account (now X) of SV 98.
