We are traveling to the BBBank Wildlife Park! On the occasion of the eighth second division matchday, SV Darmstadt 98 will be visiting Karlsruher SC on Friday (October 4th/6:30pm). DFL confirms Matchdays 8 until 14
The German Football League (DFL) officially scheduled the second division matchdays 8 to 14 on Thursday afternoon (September 5th). During this period, the Lilies will compete twice on Fridays and Sundays. In addition, a total of three Saturday games await SV 98 – one of them, the home game against Preußen Münster, takes place at 8:30pm.

Freely available day tickets are very important to us in order to give new fans the opportunity to see us play at the Bölle. However, these often end up not in the hands of Lily fans, but rather with supporters of the opposing club. Our intention is neither to bully the away fans nor to imagine that we can break through a nationwide practice of mixed blocks - rather, it is important to us that a larger number of Lily fans can enjoy day tickets and attend our home games. In order to achieve this, we want to transparently share some information with you and ask you for support:
U21 loses against Unter-Flockenbach
“An unnecessary defeat,” was the conclusion of U21 head coach Daniel Petrowsky. His team lost 2-1 against SV Unter-Flockenbach in the Hessenliga on Wednesday evening (September 4th). Georgios Makridis scored the goal for SV Darmstadt 98 in the 9th minute of the game.
After Mainz win: Fernie speaks to the media
After SV Darmstadt 98's 1-0 friendly win against Mainz 05, Paul Fernie was available to speak to the journalists present in a media round at the Bruchwegstadion. The Lilien's sports director spoke about the search for a coach, explained the requirements profile of a new head coach and gave insights into the discussions we had with Torsten Lieberknecht. Test match success against the Bundesliga club. SV Darmstadt 98 won the duel against Mainz 05 1-0 (0-0). Kai Klefisch scored the decisive goal after 70 minutes.

This Wednesday (September 4th) there will be three games with Lilien participation: The professionals are testing in Mainz, the U21s are playing in the Hessenliga in the NLZ and the fan team is challenged at home in Pfungstadt. Nürnberger joins up with the Bulgaria National Squad
Break and game-free weekend in the 2. Bundesliga. But not for Fabian Nürnberger. The Lilies‘ left-footer was called up for the Bulgarian national team for the first time. With Bulgaria – his mother’s home country – two competitive games in the UEFA Nations League await Nürnberger: On Thursday (05.09/8:45pm) they face Belarus, followed by the encounter against Northern Ireland on Sunday (08.09/6:00pm).
