Halfway through the training camp. The Lilies have completed six sessions so far, focusing on different areas: opening the game, defending in the block. But challenging sprints, demanding strength circuits, and regeneration phases have also characterised the training plan so far.
The Lilies will play their dress rehearsal before the start of their second-division campaign on Saturday (July 26th, 4:30pm) away against TSG Hoffenheim. One of the highlights of the fan festival is a friendly match between two member teams, for which you can still apply and which will be played directly in the stadium.
Killian Corredor has been wearing the Lily on his chest for almost a year. For the Frenchman, who moved to South Hesse in August 2024, this is his first summer preseason with SV 98. The German Football League (DFL) officially announced the second division matchdays 3 to 7 on Thursday (July 10). The Lilies will play three Sunday matches during this period, with the match against Eintracht Braunschweig rescheduled for Saturday afternoon. The home game against Dynamo Dresden will take place on Friday evening.
