The sports court of the German Football Association (DFB) has imposed a fine of 25,000 on SV 98. The reason for the penalty is two incidents from the home game against VfB Stuttgart (February 17). On the one hand, the DFB sanctioned the throwing of tennis balls with 20,000 euros, and on the other hand, the sports court punished the pouring of a drink on a person from the referee team with a fine of 5,000 euros.
The SV 98 was able to identify the perpetrator and the punishment will be passed on to the identified person. The club had already made sufficient statements regarding the punishment for actions in the course of the protest against a possible DFL investor.
