For the second time: open-air overnight stay for a good cause

Last year, the Merck Stadium became a huge open-air bedroom for the first time. The campaign had a serious background: In order to draw attention to the issue of homelessness in Germany and especially in the Darmstadt region, SV 98 organised an overnight stay in the stadium for a good cause. This year the event will be held again; on the night of November 1st to 2nd, the Bölle will once again become a large open-air dormitory.

U21’s lose in Walldorf

The SV 98 U21s were unable to take any points back to Darmstadt in the away game last Saturday (September 14th). Coach Daniel Petrowsky's team lost 3-0 to second-placed RW Walldorf in the Hessenliga.

It was one of those moments that can literally make things explode. After an hour, Fraser Hornby moved decisively into the penalty area and confidently nailed his shot under the crossbar. 2-0, a blue and white crowd of cheers in front of the south stand, ecstasy in the stands.
