Kai Klefisch was nominated for the “Goal of the Month for August” by the ARD Sportschau. He scored his dream long-range goal in the DFB Cup game against Teutonia Ottensen: from around 23 meters, the number 17 of the Lilies slammed the ball under the crossbar and into the goal, giving the team a 1-0 lead (final score 3-1 from the SVD’s perspective). ). „Some people say the ball was sliced…“ smiled Klefisch after the game and explained: „I didn’t see anyone in front of me and thought I’d just give it a hit. It was a disgusting one for the goalkeeper to try and judge.“ Voting for the “Goal of the Month” runs until September 28th (7pm). Vote here for the dream goal from Kai Klefisch
