After a weekend without club football due to internationals, the Lilies will be back on the pitch on Friday (18.10/18.30pm) hosting 1. FC Köln in the Merck Stadium at Böllenfalltor. Opposition Check – 1. FC Köln (H)

The best offensive in the league travels to the Böllenfalltor. So far this season, 1. FC Köln has stood for one thing in particular: lots of goals. So far, 33 goals have been scored in games with “Effzeh” participation, a record. There are 31 goals in games in which the Lilies take part. Tickets from October 18th – Christmas singing in the Merck Stadium

A few days before Christmas, the Merck Stadium at Böllenfalltor will be transformed this year into an atmospheric backdrop for the largest Christmas choir in southern Hesse. Because on the last weekend before Christmas Eve, SV Darmstadt 98 Stadion GmbH is organizing the Darmstadt Christmas singing in the Merck Stadium at Böllenfalltor. Tickets for the event presented by Merck will be available from Friday (18.10/12pm).

At the Merck Stadium: Open-air overnight stay for a good cause

Last year, the Merck Stadium at Böllenfalltor became a huge open-air bedroom for the first time. The campaign had a serious background: In order to draw attention to the issue of homelessness in Germany and especially in the Darmstadt region, SV 98 organised an overnight stay in the stadium for a good cause. This year the event will be held again; on the night of November 1st to 2nd, the Bölle will once again become a large open-air dormitory.

U21 celebrates second win in a row

The U21's Junglilien are finding their way better and better in the Lotto Hessenliga and achieved their second win in a row on Sunday (October 13th): While the Lilies won 4-0 at home against Hornau the weekend before last, the Darmstadt team celebrated this one too with a convincing 3-1 away win against Hanauer SC, who are significantly higher in the table, over the weekend.

“The club is in a challenging, exciting process”

Paul Fernie has been in charge of the Lilies‘ sporting fortunes for almost exactly six months to the day. We used the current international break to look at the first few months of his term in office with the sports director and to take a look ahead. In an interview with sv98.de, the 37-year-old analyses the end of last season, the transfer phase this summer and the progress of the current second division season so far. Fernie also talks about the collaboration with Florian Kohfeldt and the development under the new head coach.

Nürnberger travelling with Bulgaria again

Game-free weekend? Not for Fabian Nürnberger. The Lilien professional is traveling again with the Bulgarian national team during the current international match period. Nuremberg and Bulgaria – his mother's home country – have two games in the UEFA Nations League waiting for him. While the Bulgarian selection will face Luxembourg on Saturday (12.10/6pm), the duel with Northern Ireland awaits on Tuesday (15.10/8:45pm).

Traditional team: Lilies beat FC Barcelona

The dreary October weather in Darmstadt? No thanks. Under the bright Catalan sun and at a summery 25 degrees, two traditional teams met last Friday (October 4th/1:30pm) at the FC Barcelona training ground, the “Ciutat Esportiva Joan Gamper”,: The Lilies faced the legends of FC Barcelona for an exciting duel in the Spanish metropolis.

Lilies win mini-test against Fulda

Success in the mini test. The Lilies won the test match against regional league team SG Barockstadt Fulda-Lehnerz 1-0 (1-0). Killian Corredor scored the decisive goal of the game, which was played over 2 30 minute halves.
