“The days went really well”

The first of a total of two training camps in the Lilies' summer preparation was completed after five intensive days of training. After sometimes up to three sessions per day, the people of Darmstadt will return to their home in southern Hesse at the Böllenfalltor on Friday (June 28th). Time for a conclusion interview with the head coach of SV 98: We spoke to Torsten Lieberknecht about the content of the past week, about the new additions and the team chemistry. Ticket sales start for Coventry City

On July 27th, SV98 will welcome Coventry City to the Merck Stadium for a dress rehearsal before the start of the league a week later. Kick-off for the encounter against the English Championship team is at 1.30pm. Tickets for the game are available in the ticket shop at the Bölle and in the online ticket shop.

Lilien are looking for youth teams for the Heinerfest

SV 98 is represented again at this year's Heinerfest. The Lilies are still looking for youth teams.

Papela joins the Lilien

SV Darmstadt 98 has secured the services of a dynamic midfielder: Merveille Papela is joining the Lilies on a free transfer. The 23-year-old was active for 1. FSV Mainz 05 last season.

Hotel Sonnenhof in Lautenbach: The home of the Lilies

The preparations for the Lilies are in full swing: Last Thursday (June 20th) all the players came together again for the first time in the SV Darmstadt 98 function building and completed medical tests and performance diagnostics. On Saturday (June 22nd), head coach Torsten Lieberknecht's team trained for the first time, with around 1,000 spectators in the stands at the Merck Stadium. On Monday (June 24th) the SVD sets off for the first training camp of the summer, the 98ers will stay at the Hotel Sonnenhof in Lautenbach until Friday (June 28th). The focus of the first of two training camps this summer is a mix of running and soccer units.

In front of 1000 fans: Lilien back in training

The SVD is back on the training ground! On Saturday morning (June 22nd), head coach Torsten Lieberknecht invited his team onto the pitch in the Merck Stadium and the Lilies trained for almost 90 minutes in front of around 1,000 spectators. After the team started preparations on Thursday (June 20) with numerous tests and examinations, the players now had a ball on their feet for the first time.
