Dimo Wache no longer goalkeeper coach of the Lilies
After more than a decade, Dimo Wache's tenure with the Lilies is coming to an end. The 51-year-old and SV Darmstadt 98 have mutually agreed to end their collaboration.
The former Bundesliga goalkeeper has served as SV 98’s goalkeeping coach since January 2013 and has helped numerous Lilien goalkeepers develop. These include Jan Zimmermann, Christian Mathenia, Michael Esser, Daniel Heuer Fernandes, and Marcel Schuhen.
Wache has had a decisive influence on the club in his position for many years and ensured that Darmstadt 98 is considered a top-notch goalkeeper provider nationwide. During his tenure, Wache, who was born in Brake, Lower Saxony, played a significant role in many of the club’s successes through his work in his area.
President Rüdiger Fritsch: „SV Darmstadt 98 would like to thank Dimo Wache for his successful work over the past twelve years with us in Darmstadt. We wish him all the best for his professional and personal future. The doors of SV 98 will always be open to him as a friend. We wish him all the best for the future. Thank you, Dimo!“
