On Sunday (12.05./3.30pm) SV Darmstadt 98 welcomes TSG Hoffenheim and asks you to pay attention to the following information.

Fundamentally important for everyone:

  • The game is sold out. Remaining tickets can be purchased via the ticket exchange.
  • Be sure to arrive on time.
  • The stadium circulation in the home area opens via the north-west entrance 2 hours before kick-off (see stadium opening for details)
  • Away fans (blocks X1, X2) must use the north-east entrance (Böllenfalltorweg). This opens 90 minutes before the start of the game.
  • The consumption of cannabis is still prohibited based on the current legal situation (ban in sports facilities).
  • Additional bicycle parking spaces at TEC Darmstadt on Traisaer Straße

Stadium opening and kick-off time

The game starts at 3:30pm. The north-west entrance “Karl-Hess-Platz” opens for you two hours before kick-off (1.30pm) so that you can already be in the area around the south and main stands.

Access to the stands and the back straight, the north stand and the guest block is possible from 2 p.m.

The parking garage for away fans opens at 12.30pm.

Arrival/Parking/Departure

If possible, SV 98 asks all Lilien fans to come to the Merck Stadium at Böllenfalltor early and by public transport, on foot or by bike. The journey with the RMV is included in the ticket price.

For drivers from the surrounding area, it is advisable to go to parking garages or parking spaces in the city center or neighboring towns and then take the bus or train from there.

In addition to the parking spaces at the Böllenfalltorhalle, cyclists have also been able to use other parking spaces on Traiser Straße since April, which are made available in cooperation with TEC Darmstadt.

Orientation plan

Entry situation

The stadium has four entrances, which are divided into home and away areas:

  • Home area (north, south and main stand as well as back straight): Access via the south-west (Lilienschänke), north-west (Karl-Hess-Platz) and south-east (Traisaer Straße) entrances.
  • Guest block (X1 & X2): Only access via the north-east entrance (Böllenfalltorweg)
  • VIP guests: Access via the separate north-west entrance (Karl-Hess-Platz)

Away Fans

Arrival: Please pay attention to the detailed arrival information.

Overview:

  • Coaches: Parking lot P7 via Klappacher Straße/Böllenfalltorweg
  • Minibuses (up to 2m high) and cars: Parking garage P8 via Heinrichstraße/Eugen-Kogon-Straße - The parking garage for away fans opens at 12.30pm
  • Coaches should contact our fan support team in advance for directions

Refrain from throwing cups!

During the last home games we noticed an increase in the throwing of cups and as a result we not only received penalties from the DFB sports court for this, but also had to issue numerous nationwide stadium bans. Please refrain from throwing objects! You are endangering other people and committing dangerous bodily harm in accordance with Section 224 of the Criminal Code. It doesn’t matter whether someone is actually hit and injured with the cup.

Cannabis consumption remains prohibited

The consumption of cannabis is still prohibited based on the current legal situation (ban in sports facilities).

Thematic area full standing room blocks

For this game, too, it is to be expected that the standing areas will be almost completely filled to capacity. SV 98 therefore asks all fans to arrive early and to occupy seats as far away from the stairs and block entrances as possible from the moment the stadium opens. Under no circumstances should fans stand on the stairs or directly in the entrance. As a result, your friends in your block may not be able to get into the stands or, regardless of medical service operations, not be able to leave them without worry. It only works together!

Experience has shown that there are still gaps, particularly in the lower rows or the outer areas of the blocks, while there is a build-up at the block entrance at the start of the game. Furthermore, fewer standing room tickets were sold than would have been permitted. Nevertheless, everyone’s support is needed to ensure a pleasant stay for all fans.

Weather

In slightly cloudy conditions at the Böllenfalltor, the temperature climbs to a maximum of 25 degrees Celsius in the afternoon. The chance of precipitation is 25 percent in the afternoon.

Disappointment & pride

Darmstadt's 2-1 defeat at Karlsruher SC also ended any remaining theoretical hopes the South Hessian club had of finishing the season in the top three. The loss at the Wildpark stadium served somewhat as a symbol for the past few weeks, during which SV 98 had only managed one point from five matches since the international break in March. Following the game on Sunday afternoon, the Darmstadt players addressed the assembled media representatives with mixed feelings.

In their match against Hünfelder SV, the young Lilies overcame an early deficit to clinch a convincing 3-1 win. This result puts the U21 team currently outside the relegation zone. A bitter end in Karlsruhe: After 90 entertaining minutes in which both teams sought salvation in attack, Darmstadt suffered a narrow defeat. The final score was 2-1 after a late goal from the home side, following Isac Lidberg's earlier equaliser. After the match, the players were particularly frustrated with the missed opportunities in the first half.
