Organisational Information for the Magdeburg Game

On Sunday (19.10/13.30) SV Darmstadt 98 will host 1. FC Magdeburg and asks you to observe the following information.

Fundamentally important for everyone:

  • There are still a few remaining tickets in the home area (Ticketshop) as well as a box office for away fans.
  • Away fans (blocks X1 and X2) must use the North-East entrance (Böllenfalltorweg) and show their printed ticket.
  • Wearing fan paraphernalia of the visiting team is not permitted in the home section on the back straight and the south stand.

Stadium opening and kick-off time

Kickoff is at 1:30pm. The stadium opens 90 minutes prior.

The parking garage for away fans opens at 10:30am.

Arrival/Parking/Departure

SV 98 asks all Lilien fans to arrive at the Merck Stadium at Böllenfalltor early, if possible, by public transport, on foot, or by bike. The journey by RMV is included in the ticket price.

Orientation plan (plan with S-centre)

Merck-Stadion am Böllenfalltor: Der Stadionplan.

Entry Situation

The stadium has four entrances, which are divided into home and away areas:

  • Home area (North, South and Main Stands as well as the Back Straight): Access via the South-West (Lilienschänke), North-West (Karl-Hess-Platz) and South-East (Traisaer Straße) entrances
  • Guest block (X1 and X2): Access only via the North-East entrance (Böllenfalltorweg)
  • VIP guests: Access via the separate North-West entrance (Karl-Hess-Platz)

Tickets

The game is almost sold out. The last remaining tickets for the home section can be purchased via the Ticketshop. A ticket office for the guest area will open when the stadium opens.

  • Tickets can be upgraded on match day for a fee at the service point (Böllenfalltorhalle entrance) in front of the stadium.
  • Children up to and including 5 years of age do not require a ticket and can enter the stadium free of charge. Children 6 and older require a child’s day ticket.
  • A limited number of referees are available in the home area. Referee tickets (standing) are available at the service desk next to the entrance of the Böllenfalltorhalle.
  • We would like to point out that counterfeit tickets or unauthorised access will be reported to the police (fraudulently obtaining services).

Stop throwing cups!

Last season, we observed an increase in the throwing of cups, and as a result, we not only received penalties from the DFB Sports Court for this, but also had to issue numerous nationwide stadium bans.

Please refrain from throwing objects! You endanger other people and are committing grievous bodily harm according to Section 224 of the German Criminal Code. It doesn’t matter whether the cup actually hits and injures someone.

Cannabis consumption remains prohibited

The consumption of cannabis remains prohibited under current legislation (ban in sports venues).

Away fans in home areas

Based on recent experience, SV 98 would like to draw your attention to the following rules and precautions applicable to this match:

The wearing of fan paraphernalia of the visiting team is not permitted in the areas of the opposite stand (blocks G1-G3, A, O2 to O4) and the south stand.

The club, the police, and the OD are entitled to deny access to these areas to visiting fans, even if they have a valid ticket, and/or to remove them from these areas and, if sufficient space is still available, to relocate them to the away section of the stadium. If no other suitable seat can be offered, the affected visiting fan may be removed from the stadium or denied access to the stadium; in this case, no compensation is payable.

Topic area full standing blocks

The standing areas are expected to be almost completely full for this game as well. SV 98 therefore requests all fans to arrive early and reserve seats as far away from the steps and block entrances as soon as the stadium opens. Fans should never stand on the steps or directly in the entrance area. As a result, your friends in your block may not be able to access the stands or leave them safely – regardless of medical services. It’s only possible together!

Experience has shown that there are still gaps, especially in the lower rows or the outer areas of the blocks, while congestion builds up at the block entrance at the start of the game. Furthermore, fewer standing tickets were sold than would have been permissible. Nevertheless, everyone’s support is needed to ensure a pleasant experience for all fans.

Weather

Temperatures of around 12 degrees Celsius are expected in Darmstadt, with cloudy weather. The probability of precipitation is 15 percent.
