A tribute to the Lily – SV 98’s new home kit

Throughout its eventful history, SV Darmstadt 98 has gone through many different eras. Yet, the Lily has been a constant companion throughout. It is the symbol that has united the club for generations. The home jersey for the 2026/27 season is therefore a tribute to the Lily—a mark of tradition, yet also an emblem of the current era.

Featuring a classic royal blue colour scheme and accented with contrasting white trim, the new home jersey blends tradition with the present.

The centrepiece of the design—developed by SV 98 in collaboration with kit supplier CRAFT—is a jacquard pattern of Lily motifs finely woven into the fabric. It showcases nine distinct depictions of the Lily, drawn from various eras of the club’s history. These motifs span more than a century, making the jersey a tribute to the club’s evolution and identity. Each Lily symbolises what SV 98 stands for: heritage, home, and the future.

Another special detail is hidden in the neckline: the lettering „WIR LILIEN“ (We Are the Lilies). This phrase captures the jersey’s motto and encapsulates the sense of unity shared by the team, the club, and the fans.

The look is rounded off by main partner HAIX and sleeve partner Suzuki; both have once again opted for negative versions of their logos—or otherwise refrained from using other colours—thereby ensuring, just as in the previous season, that the home jersey remains strictly blue and white.

The New Home Jersey

Now available everywhere.

The jersey is now available online as well as at the City Fan Shop (from 10:00 a.m.), the fan shop at the Merck-Stadion (from 12:00pm), and the pop-up store at Luisenplatz (from 12:00pm).

The home jersey is priced at €84.98 for adults and €59.98 for children. A long-sleeved version for adults is also available for €94.98.

The jersey will make its debut tomorrow, Saturday (July 4), during the Lilien’s friendly match against SG Arheilgen.

The Lilies kick off their 2026 summer pre-season.

It was an early start on Thursday morning (June 25th) as SV Darmstadt 98 kicked off their 2026 summer pre-season. The goalkeepers were expected at the Merck-Stadion am Böllenfalltor just before 7am, with many other players following shortly thereafter. Yet, despite the early hour, a cheerful Marcel Schuhen jogged from the car park to the team building, flashing a broad grin as he held up an "eight" for the camera.
