There are two soccer clubs in the US state of Texas with which SV 98 has a special connection. Since July 2024, there has been an official cooperation between SV Darmstadt 98 and San Antonio FC (SAFC) from Darmstadt's US twin city of San Antonio. In addition, there is SVD Beaumont Texas, which was founded by Texas Lilien fans with the support of SV Darmstadt 98. Markus Pfitzner, representing the executive committee, welcomed those present and praised the outstanding work of the FuFa and the volunteers. "With so much passion and commitment, volunteers are the heart of SVD," said the vice president of the Lilies. Later that evening, those present elected a new department management.
HAIX, main and jersey partner of SV Darmstadt 98, is also "Under the Sign of the Lily": Since this season, the Bavarian specialist for functional shoes and clothing has been involved in SV 98's social campaign. Effective immediately, HAIX also supports the club's own project "fit nach vorn," which opens up new perspectives for refugees through a community football meeting and also helps them find connections in local amateur clubs.
After six consecutive unbeaten matches, SV Darmstadt 98's U21 team suffered a 3-1 defeat at home against KSV Baunatal last Saturday (September 27th). While the young Darmstadt players played with pace and determination, KSV relied on routine and experience—and ultimately prevailed.
