Fan Information for the Kiel Game

On Saturday afternoon (October 4th at 1pm), SV Darmstadt 98 will be visiting Holstein Kiel. We'll provide you with all the important information for your stadium visit in this report. For last-minute Lilies fans: There will be a ticket office on-site with a €2 surcharge for the away section.

Arrival/Parking

By car:
There is virtually no parking space around the Holstein Stadium that will accommodate the large number of expected stadium visitors. Road closures are also expected in the immediate vicinity of the stadium. Therefore, a central, guarded parking lot will be provided. From there, it is approximately a 2 km walk to the stadium. A free shuttle service directly to the away section is available from the parking lot.

Directions to the parking lot:
• Navigation input: 24118 Kiel, Leibnitzstraße
• B 76 to exit Kronshagen Nord
• Turn left onto Eckernförder Straße
• After about 800 metres turn right into Johann-Fleck-Straße
• After about 500 metres turn right into Olshausenstraße
• Turn left into Olshausenstraße at Leibnizstraße
• At the end of the street is the guarded shuttle parking lot

Coaches:
Coaches can use the parking lot directly next to the away section. Road closures may occur in the immediate vicinity of the stadium, so we strongly recommend the following route:

Directions:
• Coming from Hamburg via BAB 215 to Kiel.
• At the Kiel-Mitte motorway junction, take Olof-Palme-Damm (B 76) northbound
(Schilksee Olympic Centre / Eckernförde).
• Follow the B 76 towards Eckernförde (you will pass the stadium within sight) until the Steenbeker Weg / Suchsdorf exit.
• Turn right at the exit and follow the road “Steenbeker Weg” for about 2 kilometres.
• At the “Projensdorfer Straße” intersection, turn right again.
• After about 600 metres you will reach your destination: Holstein Stadium – guest area.

Arriving by train:
A shuttle bus operated by KVG/Kieler Verkehrsgesellschaft mbH will be available at the side entrance of Kiel Central Station. This will take you free of charge from Kiel Central Station starting at approximately 11:30am on match day, and back to Kiel Central Station after the match. Furthermore, KVG will operate the special X91 bus service from Kiel Central Station (bus stop C3) to the stadium starting at approximately 11am. This service will also provide return transport to the station after the match until approximately 4:45pm.

Fans with disabilities

Wheelchair fans:
Wheelchair spaces are located in the main stand in Block G. Wheelchair users should use the South Entrance, right next to Ticket Centre 501. Public transport is accessible. If you have any questions about parking near the stadium, please contact our Inclusion Team.

Blind fans:
To access the audio-descriptive report at the Holstein Stadium, you can easily connect to the blind radio using your smartphone and your own headphones. The blind radio is freely available throughout the stadium. To receive the blind radio, you need either the Raydio – Audio Inclusion app or the official Holstein Kiel app. Both apps are available in the Apple Store and the Google Play Store.

Away sections: M (standing) and P (seated)

Stadium opens two hours before kickoff: i.e., at 11am on Saturday.

Box Office: There will be a box office on match day, which also opens at 11am. Please note that there is a €2 surcharge. Cash and card payments are accepted.

Luggage: There is a free drop-off point for bags, backpacks, etc. in the away section. Belt bags and small bags up to A4 size, digital cameras without interchangeable lenses for personal use, crutches, or walking aids are permitted. Power banks, e-cigarettes, and food and beverages brought into the stadium are not permitted. Carrying and consuming cannabis is prohibited.

Catering: Cash and card payments are accepted at the kiosks.

Safer Spaces: The Holstein Stadium is intended to be a safe place for everyone, free from discrimination and violence. If you experience or witness an unsafe situation, our Awareness Team is happy to help. You can speak to the Awareness Team, recognisable by their purple vests, at any time in the stadium or call them by scanning the QR codes. Signs with the corresponding QR codes can be found in both the home and away sections, at the entrances to the stadium blocks, in the concession stands, and in the restrooms. Darmstadt 98 visit Karlsruher SC on matchday 32 (May 3rd, 1:30 PM). Florian Kohfeldt has made five changes to his starting lineup. Killian Corredor replaces the injured Fraser Hornby, Aleksandar Vukotic comes in for the suspended Patric Pfeiffer, and Fabian Holland starts in place of Matej Maglica, who is sidelined with an ankle injury. Merveille Papela and Niklas Schmidt also join the team, replacing Sergio Lopez and Yosuke Furukawa. In addition to Hornby, Pfeiffer, and Maglica, Darmstadt will also be without the injured Matthias Bader, Fabian Nürnberger, and Luca Marseiler.
