At the beginning of the second half, SVD suffered another setback: Imad Jaadar received a second yellow card after 62 minutes, meaning the South Hesse side had to play with a man down. This gave Baunatal a better start to the game. Due to KSV’s numerical advantage, Darmstadt conceded two goals within three minutes (67th, 70th). The Blue-Whites tried to stabilise their position, but Baunatal’s experience made things difficult for the South Hesse side. Ultimately, the SV Darmstadt 98 U21 team suffered a 3-1 defeat after six consecutive unbeaten matches.
Next Saturday (October 4th), the SV Darmstadt 98 U21 team will play against VFB 1905 Marburg at 3pm. This gives them the chance to secure points again in this away game. Come along and support the Junglilien in Marburg on the artificial turf pitch at Leopold-Lucas-Straße 50.
