Lilies players support the distribution of food to the homeless and needy.
At 1pm on Sunday (November 23rd), the food distribution began at Europaplatz in Darmstadt: Yōsuke Furukawa, Leon Klassen, Bartosz Bialek, and Merveille Papela handed out warm meals to the homeless and needy with a smile. The players from Darmstadt 98 pitched in and ensured that no one went hungry. In doing so, they supported the initiative „Helping the Homeless in Darmstadt,“ which has been providing food and other assistance to people in need every Sunday at the west exit of the main train station for over ten years.
U21 secures a point against CSC 03 Kassel
Dusk fell over the artificial turf of the Waldauer Wiesen as the cold noticeably intensified and the floodlights bathed the pitch in a cold, harsh light. The SV Darmstadt 98 U21 team had secured a point in a hard-fought, freezing away match, once again demonstrating their fighting spirit and determination. SV 98 also used the day of action in support of the DFB's bid for the Women's EURO 2029 to highlight its cooperation with DJK/SSG Darmstadt in the area of women's and girls' football, which has been in place for almost two and a half years. As the two teams entered the pitch on Saturday evening, a delegation of players from the partner club presented a banner for the DFB bid. Prior to the match, Thilo Albrecht, chairman of DJK/SSG Darmstadt, had given an interview on the stadium's TV channel.
