To coincide with „World Running Day,“ there’s a special event on June 3rd: This is especially geared towards running beginners. The meeting point is the parking lot in front of the Merck Stadium at Böllenfalltor, starting at 6pm.
A highlight follows on „Heinerfest Saturday“: On July 4, 2026, the „7-Hills Run“ takes place, a trail run of approximately eleven kilometers. Depending on the pace, the course takes between 60 and 120 minutes, with the start at 4pm.
Then, on September 26th, the Hutzel Run will take place for the 47th time. Buses depart at 3pm from the parking lot in front of the Merck Stadium and take participants to Frankenhausen (13.4km) or to the Kuralpe (19.6km). From there, participants return in guided groups of varying paces.
And another highlight for many members of the Darmstadt running club is sure to be the Lilien Team Marathon – presented by CRAFT. The second edition of the SV Darmstadt 98 running event will take place on Sunday, September 27, 2026. On that day, running enthusiasts and beginners can complete a marathon or half-marathon distance together with friends, colleagues or family.
Anyone wanting to prepare for the Lilies‘ running event or simply looking for regular exercise will find the Darmstadt Running Club perfect. The club meets Mondays (6pm), Thursdays (6pm), and Saturdays (4pm) at the Bölle stadium: the meeting and starting point is the parking lot in front of the Merck Stadium at Böllenfalltor. On Tuesdays (9:30am), the run starts at the Oberförsterwiese location. Further details can be found at:www.darmstaedter-lauftreff.de
