Departure on Loan: El Idrissi to Aschaffenburg

Othmane El Idrissi will play for Viktoria Aschaffenburg until the end of the season. The 18-year-old attacker joins the regional league club on loan, where Aytac Sulu serves as head coach.

Paul Fernie: „After Othmane’s impressive performance in the Hessenliga last season, it was important to us to raise his level. He remains an exciting player with a lot of potential and now has the chance to take the next step in a highly competitive men’s league. For him, it’s about continuing to develop both on and off the pitch so that he can return to us as a more complete player. We are convinced that the season in Aschaffenburg will help him progress in many ways, and we will, of course, closely monitor his development.“

El Idrissi transferred from SG Rot-Weiss Frankfurt to SV 98’s youth academy in July 2021. In the summer of 2024, the Frankfurt native signed the first professional contract of his career with the Lilies and made his 2. Bundesliga debut shortly thereafter. In the current season, the German-Moroccan, with his strong dribbling skills, played in five matches for the U21 team in the Lotto Hessenliga, scoring two goals.
