Fan Information for the Braunschweig Game

From the Merck Stadium at Böllenfalltor to the Eintracht Stadium! SV Darmstadt 98 fans face a roughly 370-kilometre journey on Saturday to reach Braunschweig. The Lilies will be playing there at 1pm (February 14th) for the 22nd matchday of the 2. Bundesliga. All relevant fan information can be found here.

Arrival/Parking

For the Sat Nav:

EINTRACHT-STADION, Hamburger Str. 210, 38112 Braunschweig.

Directions to the stadium:

By car, from the north take the A2 (Hanover – Berlin) and from the south take the A39 (Salzgitter interchange – Braunschweig) to the A391. Follow the signs for the Hansestraße exit to approach the stadium from the north. At the end of the motorway, turn right towards the city center/stadium. Then follow the signs to the EINTRACHT STADIUM. We strongly advise against traveling via Hamburger Straße.

Parking:

Buses, 9-seater vans, and cars can park free of charge in parking lot P4 in front of the away entrance (this lot will be filled to capacity). There is no other designated away parking area. Very few parking spaces are available in the immediate vicinity of the stadium. If parking lot P4 is full, parking along Gifhorner Straße heading out of town is recommended. Parking in the Schwarzer Berg residential area is discouraged. The parking lot opens at 10:30am, two and a half hours before kickoff.

Arrival from the train station:

For fans of the visiting team arriving by train, a free shuttle bus will be available from 10:30am for round-trip transportation to the Eintracht Stadium. Please pay close attention to the bus markings!

Stadium

Ticket Office: There will be a ticket office on Saturday, opening at 11:00am. Only cash payments will be accepted. Standing and seated tickets for the away section are still available. Referee tickets for the away section are also available there.

Away sections: The away fans‘ area is located in Block 19 (standing) and Block 18 (seated). Access to Blocks 19 and 18 is via the away fans‘ parking lot (P4), which can be reached from Hamburger Straße. Access to the seated away section 1LÜ is via the main entrance. There is no access to the away sections from Rheingoldstraße or Guntherstraße (entrances to the South Stand) or from the main entrance (except for Block 1LÜ). Please follow the signs for „North Stand“.

Stadium Opening: The stadium gates open 90 minutes before kickoff at 11:30am.

Away Parking P4: An additional, free toilet block for away fans is located in parking lot P4, just before the stadium entrance. Ample restroom facilities are also available inside the stadium in the away section.

Cameras: Digital cameras are generally permitted in the EINTRACHT STADIUM. Video cameras and semi-professional photographic equipment (SLR cameras, etc.) are prohibited. Commercial use of private images is not allowed.

Alcohol and Catering: A variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages and food are available.

Payment methods: Throughout the Eintracht Stadium, in addition to cash payments, cashless payments are also possible using debit or credit cards, or, if activated, via mobile phone or smartwatch. The only exception is the ticket office in the away section.

Backpacks/Bags: Backpacks and larger bags larger than A4 size are not permitted inside the stadium. A free baggage drop-off is located to the left of the entrance control. Items left here will be stored upon receipt of a token (please note: no liability is assumed for valuables).

Banned fans: Individuals with a nationwide stadium ban may remain in the P4 away parking area behind the away entrance during the match. Restrooms are available; however, leaving P4 is not permitted. There is no suitable accommodation for banned fans near the stadium.

Fan paraphernalia: Material checks will take place to the left of the away entrance. Random, more thorough checks will also be carried out there. The area is visible to the public, and fan liaison officers, fan project representatives, and fan support groups are invited to visually monitor the checks.

Permitted fan materials:

  • Small flags (pole length up to 1.5 metres)
  • Twelve large waving flags (pole length over 1.5 metres)
  • Double holder (stick length up to 1.5 metres)
  • Banners may be displayed on the fence as space allows (to be attached in consultation with the security staff and fan support team to the plexiglass wall in the upper area of ​​the away section and to the entire front fence. The emergency exit gate must remain open at all times!)
  • Megaphones (incl. 1x spare battery)
  • Five drums (open on one side and visible inside)
  • Adhesive tape (for attaching fence flags)
  • Belt bags (will be checked)
  • A camera for filming your own support team

Not permitted are:

  • Block flags
  • Food and drinks
  • Confetti, till and paper rolls, balloons, sparklers
  • Materials and objects used for provocation
  • All in the Stadium regulations and the ATGB’s

Stadium Regulations/General Terms and Conditions: By purchasing a ticket, you acknowledge and accept the currently valid stadium regulations for the EINTRACHT STADIUM as well as the General Terms and Conditions for Tickets (ATGB) of Eintracht Braunschweig. Eintracht Frankfurt points out that when purchasing tickets outside the two away fan blocks, please note that in certain areas of the stadium (South Stand blocks 5-9 and East Stand blocks 10-14 as well as in the North Stand blocks 15 to 17) the wearing of opposing fan clothing is not permitted and entry to these blocks and/or to the stadium may be refused.

Information for wheelchair users

Our visiting fans in wheelchairs will be positioned on the NORTH ramp in the main stand of the EINTRACHT STADIUM, near the away section. Tickets for visiting fans in wheelchairs are available in advance from the visiting club or, subject to availability, on match day at ticket booth 10 (away parking lot P4). Parking lot P4 is designated for wheelchair users. Entry is via the entrance in the away section directly on P4. The accessible restroom for wheelchair users is located between blocks 1 and 19 (Marathon Gate between the main stand and the North Stand), directly at the entrance to the ramp. During the colder months, thermal and heated blankets are available for wheelchair users in the away section of the EINTRACHT STADIUM. Information for visually impaired viewers

Visually impaired and blind football fans also have the opportunity to experience their team’s matches live at the EINTRACHT STADIUM. The entire game will be commentated by two presenters via a wireless headphone system. A total of ten seats are available in Block 4 of our main stand. Due to limited capacity, away fans are asked to inquire about available seats in advance of the match. Interested parties can contact Eintracht Braunschweig by email. (ticketing@eintracht.com).

Reporting center for discrimination, harassment and sexual assault

An emergency hotline is available throughout the match day at 0531 – 2323 067. This number can be found via a QR code in all stadium restrooms. Anyone experiencing a situation perceived as inappropriate or threatening can call this number to receive immediate assistance. Witnesses to incidents can also contact the hotline or the provided email address. Additionally, staff from the security service, fan and inclusion support teams, the fan project, fan organisations and associations at their respective stands, and the police are available to answer questions.
