Arrival/Parking

Arrival/Parking by car and nine-seater:

For your GPS (parking): Gübser Weg 20B, 39114 Magdeburg. Please only enter the address Gübser Weg once you are in Hammelberg, otherwise you may end up in the home area.

Take the A2 past Magdeburg to the Lostau/Hohenwarthe exit. Turn right onto the L52 towards Lostau and drive through the village until you reach the B1. Turn right onto the B1 towards Magdeburg. From the Magdeburg city limits, continue on the B1 (Berliner Chaussee) until you see the VW Autohaus City dealership on your left. Continue on the B1 towards Magdeburg. (From there, you will also find signs for the away parking area). Turn left onto „Am Hammelberg“ and continue to the end (please note that the road bends to the right). The road ends at Gübser Weg. Turn right here and continue to the signposted away parking area.

Due to extensive construction work in the city centre and the large number of home fans, traveling through Magdeburg is not recommended.

The away parking area opens at 3:30pm.

The parking fee is €5.00 for cars/nine-seaters.

Arrival/Parking by Bus:

For your GPS (parking): Gübser Weg 20B, 39114 Magdeburg. Please only enter the address Gübser Weg once you are in Hammelberg, otherwise you risk ending up in the home fan area.

Away fan buses will take a slightly different route. They will initially continue on the B1 (Berliner Chaussee) until the B1 forks. Then, keep left and continue on Berliner Chaussee until you reach Paul-Ecke-Straße. Turn left there and continue via Leineweberstraße to Gübser Weg. Turn left again here and continue until you reach the entrance to the away fan parking area. Fan buses should use the first away fan parking area.

The guest bus parking area also opens at 3:30pm.

The parking fee for fan buses is €10.00.

Arrival/Parking by Train/Public Transport:

Train passengers arriving at Magdeburg Central Station should take regional trains towards Berlin, Genthin, or Leipzig to the Herrenkrug stop. From there, take tram line 6 towards the city centre and ride for three stops to Jerichower Platz. Cross the street and walk backwards in the direction the tram was travelling until you reach the intersection with the B1. Cross the B1 and turn right, walking along Jerichower Straße until you reach Berliner Chaussee. Turn right there, cross the street, and continue onto Paul-Ecke-Straße. Continue along Leineweberstraße to Gübser Weg. The entrance to the guest parking area is located here. Continue through the guest parking areas to the guest entrance. The walk takes approximately 35-40 minutes (about 2.5km).

Tram: Your match ticket entitles you to free use of MVB trams and buses from 3 hours before to 3 hours after the match. We recommend taking tram line 6 and getting off at Jerichower Platz. From there, you can walk to the stadium via Jerichower Straße, Berliner Chaussee, Paul-Ecke-Straße, Leineweberstraße, and Gübser Weg.

IMPORTANT: It is advisable not to wear fan clothing when using the tram or walking to the Avnet Arena.

As Florian Kohfeldt approached the team's dressing room at halftime, the Darmstadt head coach heard exactly one sentence: "It's not finished." Fraser Hornby had uttered it, setting the tone for his teammates and himself. What followed was a remarkable second half from Darmstadt 98 and a point against SV Elversberg, a point that, while likely insufficient for their promotion hopes in southern Hesse, nonetheless filled the Darmstadt fans with pride.
