Organisational information for the Christmas carol singing

On Monday evening (December 22nd), the large Darmstadt Christmas carol singing event will take place at the Merck Stadium at Böllenfalltor. The event is organised by SV Darmstadt 98 Stadion GmbH. This announcement provides you with all the important organisational information for the event presented by Merck.

On Monday, there will be a box office. This is located in the ticket shop at the Merck Stadium at Böllenfalltor. Only standing tickets for the opposite stand will be available there. A surcharge of €2 will be added to the advance sale price at the box office.

Stadium opening and event start

  • The Merck Stadium opens at 4:30pm.
  • The stage program starts at 6pm.
  • The stage program ends at approximately 7:30pm.

Arrival/Parking/Departure

Please note that the parking lot in front of the stadium is not open to the public.

SV 98 requests that all guests travel to the Merck Stadium at Böllenfalltor by public transport, on foot, or by bicycle whenever possible. There will be additional tram services on lines 2, 5, and 9 before and after the event. Furthermore, there will be increased service on bus lines O and R from the „Böllenfalltor“ stop.

  • Please use only the southwest (Lilienschänke) and northwest (Karl-Hess-Platz) entrances.
  • VIP guests: Access via the separate North-West entrance (Karl-Hess-Platz)
  • Bags and backpacks larger than DIN A4 are not permitted.
  • Blankets and hot water bottles are allowed.

Tickets:

There will be a box office on the day of the match, selling only tickets for the standing area in the opposite stand. Tickets purchased at the box office will be €2 more than the advance sale price. Children under 4 years of age do not require a ticket. Children aged 5 and over require a child’s day ticket.

Food:

  • The kiosks in the stadium are open and sell food as well as cold and hot drinks.
  • Payment is possible in cash and by card.

Miscellaneous:

  • Songbooks with the lyrics for singing along will be distributed free of charge in the stadium.

Temperatures of around 5 degrees Celsius are expected in Darmstadt under cloudy skies.
