SV 98 and Klöber enter into a premium partnership.

Taking the next step together: SV Darmstadt 98 and Klöber Versicherungsmakler GmbH are further expanding their partnership. The Darmstadt-based company, which has served as a "Top Partner" to the Lilien for the past two years, will now act as a "Premium Partner" of SV 98.

Volker Harr, Vice President of SV 98: “Klöber is a family-run company that stands out thanks to a leadership culture defined by humanity, appreciation, and approachability. We are proud of our long-standing, close relationship and, in particular, of the fact that we have been able to take our matchday initiatives to a new level through the ‘Herzenslilien’ [Heart Lilies] project. As a Darmstadt-based company with a clear set of values, Klöber is a strong partner with whom visions can be turned into reality.”

Martin Kowalewski, Managing Director of SV 98: “Our relationship with Klöber is a wonderful example of how a partnership can grow over time. After Klöber—a long-standing partner—had already expanded its involvement from the business level to the ‘Top Partner’ level, we are now delighted to take the next step in this strong collaboration. A key focus for the future will be establishing the joint ‘Lilien-Gala’ as a permanent, glamorous highlight on Darmstadt’s social calendar, and fostering lasting connections between the business, political, and sports sectors in support of a good cause.”

Kevin Klöber, Managing Director of Klöber: “For us, SV 98 represents far more than just a sponsorship; it is part of our Darmstadt identity. With this premium partnership, we are sending a clear signal that business success and social commitment go hand in hand. The ‘Herzenslilien’ initiative has demonstrated how much we can achieve together, and with the ‘Lilien-Gala,’ we are now creating a platform that makes this spirit even more visible. We look forward to continuing this journey with SV 98.”

Starting with the 2025/26 season, Klöber took over the charity raffle campaign held during SV 98 home matches; operating under the name „Herzenslilien“ (Heart Lilies), the initiative supported social organisations and projects in Darmstadt and the surrounding area. This joint effort raised a total of approximately €123,000 for charitable causes in the region. In early July, the „Herzenslilien“ initiative was honoured with the „Play Fair“ award from the Darmstadt chapter of the German Olympic Society (DOG).

In addition to continuing the „Herzenslilien“ campaign at SV 98 home matches, Klöber will now serve as the main partner for the „Lilien-Gala.“ This event is set to sustainably strengthen regional identity while sending a clear signal regarding social responsibility.

The sponsorship package includes not only naming and logo rights but also increased visibility on LED perimeter boards and extensive digital rights.

Thanks to a special „Lilien“ insurance policy—developed through the collaboration of Klöber, Die Haftpflichtkasse, and SV 98—club members can access discounted insurance offers.

The package also incorporates targeted incentive measures and is rounded off by an exclusive hospitality arrangement.
