On Saturday lunchtime (November 23rd/1pm) SV Darmstadt 98 will be guests at Hannover 96. In this message we provide you with all the important information for your visit to the stadium in the Heinz von Heiden Arena.
For the fourth time, SV Darmstadt 98 has organised a reforestation campaign together with its partner Krombacher “Under the Sign of the Lily”. Last weekend (November 16th), around 70 enthusiastic Lily fans who arrived by bus from Darmstadt got involved and planted around 3,500 young trees on an approximately 8,000 square meter area of forest in the Hofstetten district of Kleinwallstadt. The skilled workers on hand provided the necessary equipment, while the Krombacher Brewery took care of the food for the volunteers.
This winter, SV 98 would like to offer season tickets for the second half of the season again, giving up to 400 Lily fans the opportunity to get a new season ticket subscription. At the same time, the club wants to use the opportunity to use the outer block of the north stand – N4 – permanently dyed in our club colours. For this reason, the second half season tickets will only be available in this area.
It's been a long wait; 38 years. Hannover 96 could secure the autumn championship in the 2nd Bundesliga in December for the first time since the 1986/87 season. Back then, the side from Lower Saxony, who are currently back at the top of the table, had a similarly strong season. The end result was promotion to the 1st Bundesliga in 1987. 38 years ago, the Hanoverians were at the top of the table both after halftime and at the end of the season. Can the current team repeat the history of 38 years ago?
SV Darmstadt 98 and Günter Jacobi, Glass and apartment cleaning G.m.b.H will continue to go hand in hand in the future. The long-standing partnership has been extended until 2026. The Darmstadt-based company based in Griesheim continues to act as Lilien's top partner.
Attention Lily fans! After the completion of the Merck Stadium, as part of our successful 2021/22 membership campaign, around 9,000 names of our members were immortalised in the players' tunnel of the Lilies, who have symbolically accompanied our team onto the field at every home game since then. Our sports club has now grown to almost 15,000 members and of course all doors are still open to becoming a club member.

Successful international matches from Lilien’s perspective! SV Darmstadt 98 will be carrying out construction work on its training ground in the near future, which will serve to expand the training ground area. Since the work largely affects the area that the fans use to observe the units or the entrance and exit to the area, the training unfortunately has to take place behind closed doors for security reasons until further notice.
After three away games and a recent bitter defeat, the U21 of SV Darmstadt 98 was able to win again in the home game against KSV Baunatal. In a hard-fought game, the Junglilien managed to take an early 1-0 lead from the first half. With these three points, the team distances itself further from the relegation zone of the Lotto Hessenliga.
